Safe Space Workshop

Rainbow P.A.W.S. (Pride at Work and School) is hosting a Safe Space training workshops in January. The workshop is two hours long and features a Q&A at the end. This will be hosted oncampus.

Through education and advocacy, the Safe Space program seeks to make Texas A&M University-San Antonio a more welcoming, safe, and inclusive campus for LGBTQ+ individuals, a term that includes but is not limited to gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and queer individuals.

Safe Space workshops prepare members of the University community to support and advocate for those who identify as LGBTQ+.

Safe Spaces are people, not places. Through this training, you will become a Safe Space for our LGBTQ+ students, staff, and faculty.

Once the workshop has been completed, you will receive a Safe Space sticker, which you can display to signal your status as an advocate.
