Register for a New Student Conference (NSC) To accept your offer of admission to the Texas A&M University Galveston Campus, register for your New Student Conference (NSC) in AIS: applicanttamug.tamu.edu. The New Student Conference is a required orientation for all undergraduate students. The NSC will prepare you for your academic career at TAMU-Galveston. At the conference, you will register for classes, be introduced to student life, explore Aggie traditions, and get acquainted with your fellow classmates. For the best choice of classes, register for your NSC as soon as possible. Please note: Registration for the NSC is the only way to confirm your seat in the incoming class on the Galveston campus. Accepting your Financial Aid package or registering for on-campus housing does not confirm acceptance of admission. For questions regarding New Student Conferences, please call 409.740.4439.
Apply For On Campus Housing Reserve your housing by visiting www.tamug.edu/cll and completing the housing application, which includes a one-time, non-refundable $75 application fee. Room assignments are completed in batches between June 1st and the first day of fall semester classes. Submitting your application early increases your chance of securing your top choice of housing. Living on campus is more than just a place to lay your head at night. It is a vibrant community where students can be a part of the unique student body and establish life-long friendships, all while balancing the demands of college life. Besides the convenience of walking to class, studies show that students living on campus are, on average, more likely to maintain a higher GPA, be more involved, and graduate on time. Texas A&M University Galveston Campus wants to ensure that as many students as possible enjoy these benefits, so all students under 21 are required to live on campus. Students in the Texas A&M Maritime Academy are required to live on campus unless classified as Victor Company. If you believe you are exempt from this requirement due to personal circumstances or Galveston County residency, contact Campus Living and Learning directly at 409.740.4445 or by visiting www.tamug.edu/cll and reviewing the off-campus application.
