What to Expect ★
Each morning PNMs will be bused to the row from specific areas on campus: Olsen Field, Lot 100, White Creek, and The Quad
★
Each Bus will run in a loop 2 hours before the first party of the day to the row and back to the stop: it is the PNMs responsibility to get to the row on time!
★
Each PNM will go to every party on their list for that day: a PNM CANNOT skip a party because they do not want to go back to that specific Chapter
★
At the end of the day, the buses will take PNMs back to the original pick up spots: PNMs must take the bus to AND from the row
Advice: ~ Arrive to the bus stop 1-1.5 hours before the first party starts ~ ~ Be respectful to all Chapters and Row Members at all times ~ ~ Follow the rules outlined in the Recruitment Guide that will be sent to your PNM upon their Registration ~

Preferencing Operation System | Maximizing Options | More Information | Bids
The Screen ★ This is what each PNM will see on the screen when they log on ★ The Chapter Pool column will only be filled with chapter houses that she attended on that day ★ PNMs will move each chapter from the Chapter Pool to the Ranked Chapter column
★ Ranking is done by: ○ All the houses that she would like to go back to will be given the #1 ○ The rest of the houses are ranked by the order she would be willing to go back starting with the #2 ○ If she does not receive invites back to all her #1 houses, then we will maximize her options
Maximizing Her Options Single Intentional Preferencing On Pref Night (the final round), each PNM will preference the houses they will accept a bid from. PNM decides they will only accept a bid from one house and leaves the #2 slot open Pros: There are NO pros for Single Intentional Preferencing Cons: The PNM will NOT be guaranteed a bid on Bid Day
★ At no point throughout the week does a PNM “cut” a Chapter house. ★ Even if a PNM lists a Chapter as last on their preference list, they could still see the house on their party list the next day. ★ By keeping an open mind and maximizing options, the system does a great job at placing PNMs in the best sorority for them!
More Information Conflicts
Legacies
Excused conflicts for the week of recruitment include: ○ Academics ○ Scholarships ○ Varsity Athletic Practices
★
Last year we had several hundred reported legacies go through recruitment!
★
Being a legacy does not guarantee a PNM a spot inside of a Chapter
★
If a PNM has an excused event, she is allowed to miss parties during recruitment ○ This could include part of a day or a whole day depending on what the PNM may need
★
Every chapter has different requirements for legacies going through recruitment (this is based on their National policies)
★
If a PNM does need to miss a couple of parties or a day of recruitment, we will create a schedule for her to maximize her options
★
Please reach out to me or our VP of Recruitment as soon as you are aware of conflicting times during recruitment
