End of Course Certificate

Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE) –Trinity College London

At the end of the course, all students will receive a Frances King certificate stating the length of the course and language level achieved. If they have taken a Trinity Examination, Trinity will also provide a certificate of achievement.

Students can take a spoken English examination at the end of their course (minimum 2 week course) at an extra cost of ÂŁ95/GESE examination. The examination assesses speaking and listening skills and is suitable for students of any age and level of English. Students are fully prepared for this examination during the programme. Trinity College London is an international examinations board, fully accredited in the United Kingdom as an independent awarding body. The skills assessed form a natural part of the Frances King course and there are 12 GESE grades at 4 development stages: Initial (Grades 1-3); Elementary (Grades 4-6); Intermediate (Grades 7-9); Advanced (Grades 10-12). A native English speaking Trinity Examiner comes to the school and provisional results are available straight after the examination session.

Testimonials

We welcome groups of students, at all levels of English, in mixed or closed classes and at any time of the year. We have taught groups of students from Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Spain, Italy, Russia and many other countries. Our staff always do their very best to meet student expectations and ensure students improve their English and enjoy their stay with us. Groups return to our schools each year. Here are some examples of what Group Leaders think of their experience at Frances King.

“Every July I take groups of students to study at Frances King School of English in London. Our experience has always been the best (and I have also done courses there myself). Lessons are great fun and really interesting and the staff are helpful and very friendly. The houses provided by the school are centrally located and the host families have made our stays unforgettable. I enjoy the whole experience as much as my students do. It has always been very enriching and deeply rewarding !”

“The students were really pleased and happy with their experience, especially studying in international classes and with great teachers. Frances King staff have always met my requests and those of my colleague Amato. My students had an amazing experience and they want to thank you for that.” Teresa Petruzella Group Leader (Pon Group), Italy

“Every year we take our students to London for intensive English training at Frances King School of English. The students have always been full of praise for the welcoming and supportive school staff and friendly and dedicated teachers. In addition to language classes, the school also offers a number of outof-class activities that help students truly enjoy and appreciate British life and culture.” Zorana Vasiljevic Group leader, Japan
