TANISH PREET KAUR INTERIOR DESIGNER ABOUT ME Being passionate about travelling and exploring different cultures, art and traditions, I travelled across many cities in India. What draws me towards them is how art and design has been in the roots of our culture. Understanding people’s lifestyles I realized design is more than just a building, a room, a space, its about people.....

A library is designed in the Jharjhari village of Mayurbhanjh district of Odisha. The idea of a library in this village would add a new meaning in the lives of the people. The library would be considered as a centre for education and for the upliftment of the village. The library would be equipped with traditional reading material along with e-books, audio-visuals and audiobooks. It would also cater to the needs of disabled people. It would serve as a central part of communication in the village. It would serve as a medium to bridge the gap between rural and urban areas.
