Site Area : 53614 SQM Project Brief: To design a building that embodies the dynamic character of a contemporary Student Union and accomplishes the integration of students, flora, fauna for achieving maximum creative freedom and rejuvenation for the various user groups.

03 Eyrie referring to nest is a welcoming yest lavish home for a family of six. It incoporates a spacious rich lifestyle at the same time taking care of the comfort levels of each member. Having activities such a pool, gym adds on to the glory of the house.

Red Lakefront. Landscape. Site selected : Lal Dighi, Kolkata, WB, India Site type: Lakefront urban pocket. Site Area : 4.2 acres : 17,000 SQM Project Brief: was to identify a potential site in the city of your residence, analyse, develop and propose a landscape design to improve and maintain an already existing green space amongst the urban sprawl.


04 The lake forms an urban pocket in one of the most busiest areas of a metropolitan city, Kolkata. Surrounded by some of the most ZHOO NQRZQ RǬFLDO EXLOGLQJV ZKHUH numerous come for their 9-5 jobs on a daily basis, the green pocket along with the lake, if developed and maintained properly, is bound to be used by the public to have a breath of fresh air during their breaks from the monotony.


Located in the prime of South Calcutta, Lal Dighi forms a lakefront with open spaces in an L-shaped manner. It is located across from the very famous Writers Building and GPO. Target audience includes majority of employees and tourists. Easy to access as well as locate since it is well connected on all four sides with roads.

Circulation Pathways.

Attracts public and an hotspot for relaxation especially since site is surrounded by Office buildings. It also is a heritage site due to which will atract tourists. Tree Positions. Seating in stepped manner facing the lake emphasizes the serene environment . With neem trees that offer cool and shade.


Seating at food counters, shaded with part canva cloth and use of solar panels as well. tables and benches merged with green bushes to provide privacy between seatings. Rhythimic placement of round and columnar trees.

Upon entering a sudden sense of calm and quiet.
