TIMBER LINTEL & TIMBER BRACING Timber lintel can be allocated above all doors and windows opening. It is secure by tension strapping and galvanised metal strap. Tension strapping is used when the frame work is within 1800 to 2700 max. plywood bracing is been used otherwise.

All structural timberwork shall conform with the requirements of AS 1720 timber engineering code and AS 1684 timber framing code.
