“I love flying; I love aircraft, and you could say I've had a love affair with flight since I was a child. I travel a huge amount. I use airports, and as a pilot, I've flown in and out of airports thousands of times, so really, I have a fairly broad perspective.” - Norman Foster
JAIPUR
INTERNATIONAL
CHAURAAH AIRPORT Airport Is like a gateway to the city either entering or leaving the land. The idea while designing this airport terminal was to make passenger walk through the walled city of Jaipur, one can experience that place encompasses various cultures, traditions, colors and smell of the building expressing themselves that they all are part of a strong historical space. In such close proximity, this design connects to the heritage intensively, still brings the contemperory feel. A grand entrance welcoming the travellers and leaving the airort with the feel of step out of the city gate (boarding gate). Each element comes with their own function and essence. Creating the proportion and play with spatial elements with scale to not only enhance the function but also provide an identity to the place. Integrating the public interactive areas (chaupars) with the roads, making it look not just a path, but to create a spatial pause point and place to share experience. Tried to encourage by incorporating basic elements to think about architecture not just from a functional point of view but also to create spaces that can conquer time.

Design Concept Site Context Jaipur, the heritage capital city of Rajasthan is also the first planned city of India. It is a beautiful fusion of traditional and modern architectural pattern. The layout of the city of Jaipur wonderfully links the concept of a Shastric city with the practicalities of the chosen site. First, the straight line of the ridge suggested itself as the route for one of the main east-west thorough fares and building a road. The point of intersection would be one of the city’s main cross-roads (chaupar). The planning was done in a grid pattern. A grid of 3×3 with gridlines being the city’s main streets.

India
The central axis runs from east to west between the two gates Suraj Pole and Chand pole and two roads cross the central axis at right angles. Which divides it into nine equal blocks.

TECHNOLOGY INCORPORATED
Augmented and Virtual reality Technolgy is used at jaipur airport’s big and small pause points. It will create a pause point automatically and bring the tension of a passenger down. They can relax , think, spare few minutes to look at it. People while sitting at dwell seats can have a look at them in the center.

Augmented reality can make an impact on retail airport indusrty and will contribute to revenue generation. It brings in notice to customers about ot of new things happening around. It detects the sales, discounts, hoices, etc according to customers. It creates a different experience for passengers while shopping at airport.

EVERPRESS LIMITED (Tattoo & T-shirts) REAL DESIGNS, BY FOR REAL PEOPLE
REAL
ARTISTS
Everpress is about printing individual creative designs on T-shirt which brings out the uniqness in everyone. So as the tattoo is also kind of prints on body which brings the individuality of the person. Combining both the individuality and creativeness a store is designed in a manner. On the ground floor printing process and t-shirt section are designed. Enterning in the store you discuss and select your design with color and then print it on the machine provided in the store itself. The corrugated iron sheet is used to give a backdrop for the hanging t-shirts and on the ceiling which continues to the wall off first floor in the doubleheight. Collage of different slogans and the tattoo prints are used on the wall near staircase which takes you to the first floor. Four(most of the styles are covered) different types of international tattoo studio are designed. Prints of different style tattoos are cut into MDF and used on ceiling to bring the colorfulness into space as well as connecting the everpress and tattoo studio brings simpleness as well as charmful colors to the space. Waiting area is designed in a manner where discussion for tattoo design and coffee place can be together.

LIVE IN LIBRARY
ORGANISATIONA & MODULARITY
The program is to design for design students who are living in library for academics in design section of the library. The module is made by the book shelves of the existing library in a cubical form and is designed in the reading space of the library by repeating it in a particular order and different orientation. The cafeteria is also designed by 2 different modules made by bookshelves. In overall the intension of this design is towards living with books as the design is done in library which aesthetically celebrates the over crowding of books and students living in their.

As the company claims to make spiffy(smart inappearance & classy) attires for women to design store, curve is one of the element used as an element to the space planning which depicts the only women store and grace to it. The brand is of more into khaadi material. Thus, elements such as khaadi yarn wall manuals, bamboos and fabric textured finishes are udes to bring the essence of buyging khaadi dresses different flooring materials differentiate the main two fixtures and accordingly the women apparels. Through flooring the fluid movement is taken into consideration for cirulation space as to focus on every dresses of fixtures spot lights are used The partition at the end of the store is backdrop to the cash counter as well as isolates the changing rooms and other sevices.

MATERIAL SYSYTEMS
Form is an outcome of material manipulation under force. This was a workshop with intense hands on undertaking attempts to establish a relationship between material & form, through articulation of forces, thereby enabling development of material systems by interaction of rigid(lineartimber, bamboo, steel / planar — veneer, ply, timber, steel) & flexible materials.Using both the stiffness & flexibility present in materials,or induced using simple techniques or operations for material manipulation,we developed this ‘material system‘ as an assembly where the interaction of matter & energies compute form, driven by complex constraints & feedbacks from making environment & human interaction. In the process, material rather than being a passive receptor of form begins to be an active generator of form.Design —build — prototype — construction helps comprehend the behaviour of materials & their interrelationship, resulting in physical fabrication. We went through intricacies of effective member cross sections (profile, orientation) of structural elements -look at type of joints (pin, rigid) & understand through push, pull & rotation of modelssystem behaviour- under vertical and lateral loads. Artisans, craftsmen & carpenter were involved right from the conception of the design process to its c ulmination in built form. Therefore the course entails(1)Understanding the concept of joinery through making. (2) Understanding material behaviour & material property in relation to form. (3) Understanding significance of geometrical forms and joinery & its behaviour under applied force as a means of load transfer. (4)Devising sequence of construction & techniques of making 1:1.
