Beauty
Aberdeen, situated on the East coast of Scotland, has just become home to the first free standing M.A.C store in Scotland. M.A.C is one of the most loved makeup brand amongst make-up artists and women around the world. So when it was announced back in September that a the first ever M.A.C store in Scotland would be opening up there was an instant buzz about it. For weeks and weeks anxious fans would walk past the store wondering when exactly the store would have it’s big opening and on Saturday the 23rd of November everyone’s prayers were answered. The store was mobbed the day it opened, I mean of course it was. There is no-where else in Aberdeen where you can purchase M.A.C make-up so everyone wanted some immediately. The exterior of the shop, situated in Union Square, is very modern and colourful. However the inside is of course the best bit. Every Beauty junkie that enters must
feel like they are in paradise as the different colours of lipsticks and blushes and the glamorous packaging of the make-up products screams out to you as soon as you enter those front doors. There is also trained make-up artists in store if you feel like getting a make over or you want to be colour matched to a product, however I wish you the best of luck of actually getting their attention as the store is always mobbed. Of course there is still a lot of hype about the store as it is new and I’m sure in a few months time the novelty will fade away but there is no doubt in my mind that this store is here to stay and will do very well for itself. I’m every sure that people from neighbouring towns and cities will be making a trip to Aberdeen just to be able to walk inside the store. Be sure to check it out if you have the chance as they do have a lot of amazing products. I personally love their lipsticks and I know that I too will be making a few more trips to the store in the near future.
Wildflower Cases
Wildflower Cases is a small business owned by a family in South California. The idea originally came about when the owner and creator of the company, Michelle Carlson wanted to make some original presents for her daughters. She decided to make them a custom handmade phone case and ever since then the idea and company has continued to grow.
The family went straight to work with designing some cases and setting up a website where they could sell their product worldwide.
The Carlson family only started selling their cases in April 2012 and have become a recognised brand throughout the world. Teen girls, and some boys, are all desperate to get their hands on one of the unique handmade cases. We have just done a collaboration with the clothing line Element Eden and are hoping to expand this line also, â€? Each case is priced at $35, which is roughly ÂŁ23. You may think this is a little pricey for a phone case however I strongly believe that these cases are worth every penny. No matter how many times I have dropped my phone it has always been protected from any cracks and scratches.
When you think about £23 really isn’t that much for a handmade case which will ultimately protect your phone from smashing which would be a lot more expensive to repair.
Wildflower cases are now being sold in selected boutiques in cities such as New York and Paris . Michelle is hopeful to sell them in more stores in various different cities, worldwide. I’m sure you will see

Nail Tutorial What You Will Need:

Paint your nails with a white nail polish to act as the base colour to your design.
Stick on Flower decals while your nail polish is still wet. You can add them to every finger or every second finger depending on your preference. (Tip: For flower decals to stay on nails for longer add a little bit of nail glue to the back of the flower).

Using a black nail art pen, draw the details such as the nose and mouth on to the nails. (Tip: Draw the nose like an upside down love heart.)
Using a dotting tool and any colour of nail polish you like draw on some extra details such as dots, circles, hearts etc.

The remake of the “60’s” horror film Carrie is being released this month starring “Kick -Ass” star Chloe Grace Moretz. The trailer had us hooked and we have been left wanting more. It will be released the 29th of November.
Arguably even better than the first Hunger Games, “Catching Fire” was also released this month and had us all blown away. It was full of twists and was very emotional. If there is one film you must see this = then it is definitely “Catching Fire”.
