why young Living?: (part 1) 1. Established in 1994, YL has been in existence longer than any other EO company. 2. YL's Seed to SealÂŽ process ensures complete quality control, starting with the soil the plants are grown in and seeds selected to plant. This process is also upheld during the distillation and extraction practices and even continues into bottling, labeling, and shipping procedures. 3. YL is the only EO company to have actual ownership of multiple farms worldwide. 4. YL practices sustainable and ethical farming. The majority of oil companies care only about profit & fail to invest any money into protecting natural resources and improving work conditions. 5. YL conducts in house and 3rd party testing so every oil is safe, pure, & consistent. Testing is a very expensive process. Substandard oil companies are known to buy low quality plant materials YL would never consider. These castoff materials could contain high levels of pesticides or diseased plant product. 7. YL oils are pure, not diluted, and have no synthetics. It's a well known fact synthetics are being added to low quality EO's. Chemicals that mimic EO scents are used in place of real EO's. The chemical scents have zero therapeutic value and can even make you sick (ie. raise your blood pressure)! Again- these processes are embraced by substandard EO companies to keep production costs low and profits high.
