HERE’S A LITTTLE SOMETHING ABOUT MY PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO First of all, congratulations on the new bundle of joy you are expecting. Becoming a parent is truly the most important and rewarding job you will ever have! . Those sweet brand new little angles are just perfect.
You will never forget the first moment you laid eyes on your daughter or the first time you heard your son cry. These are truly magical moments. As much as we hope and pray they will stay little forever, they grow up anyway. Those first few weeks seem to fly by and each moment becomes a fleeting memory.
WHY YOU SHOULD HIRE A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER When was the last time you had portraits made at a large chain studio and actually had the luxury of your photo session including props that were custom ordered just for your session? Did he/she seek to find out who you are, what your style is, what your goal is with the session they performed? Can you even remember the name of your cookie-足cutter in-足store photographer? The answer to all of that is probably no!
Custom photography is simply that… a custom experience tailored to suit you, your style, your personality and your needs. When I am contacted for a newborn photography session far enough in advance of the actual session date that is scheduled, I have tons props such as hats, blankets, baskets, etc for your session. I will bring tons of things for us to choose from to get your perfect picture. My goal will be to have pictures match your style, your home, your vision.
I can also guarantee that the “photographer” from your cookie-cutter photography session will not be going home that night to spend many hours editing those photos, removing blemishes, blogging about your session, and going the extra mile for customer #2634. Custom photographers do! We spend many hours perfecting your images to create a unique gallery that truly makes our clients’ personalties shine through;; a gallery that will preserve an incredibly important memory in your lifetime.

Tips for Your Photo Session
Feed your baby 30 minutes before our session. Photographing newborns professionallycan be a long process, it can take up to 3 hours. Full tummies = happy babies. Book your newborn session between his or her day 4 or day 10 of life;; 7 is ideal. This timing may come as a suprise to you, as it seems rather early. However, after this period,newborns “wake up” and don’t easily get into those long deep sleeps. Baby rashes and acnealso start flaring up after this. Make your bed. Being an on-location photograher means that I travel to your home for your session I like to take the “posey”pictures but I also like to take “real” and intimate pictues of your family on your bed. Don’t stress about your home, I will find the perfect spot for the rest of our photos. Remember I have had my own three newborns!! Dress yourself in simple outfits in mid tone colors, dress your baby in nothing more than a diaper. This goes against my advice for family sessions but you don’t want anything distracting from your newborn. Mid tones colors basically means nothing too light or too dark. Mom : RELAX. Other than shots of yoru family on the bed, you don’t have much to dol We will take family pictures and then you get to do what you need to do!! Toasty House You can turn up your thermostat a tad. Babies like being cozy and warm. We might get a bit hot but your baby will love it. Session. We will talk before your session to make sure we get all the photos you want written down so you wont have to worry on the day of!!
