TAOSHOBUDDHA
The word Taoshobuddha comes from three words, ‘tao,’ ‘sho,’ and ‘Buddha’. The word Tao was coined by the Chinese master, Lau Tzu. It means that which is and cannot be put into words. It is unknown and unknowable. It can only be experienced and not expressed in words. Its magnanimity cannot be condensed into finiteness. The word Sho implies, that which is vast like the sky and deep like an ocean and carries within its womb a treasure. It also means one on whom the existence showers its blessings. And lastly the word Buddha implies the Enlightened One; one who has arrived home. Thus, Taoshobuddha implies one who is existential, on whom the existence showers its blessings and one who has arrived home. The Enlightened One!

Word from Taoshobuddha ,
his particular document is a dialogue between a sheikh and the aspirant wherein the tariqat has been explained so the saliq’s inward journey continues. It so happened, today July 8th, 2010 while working on certain scripts my skype phone buzzed. On checking it was a call from Syed Sameer Shah of Lahore in Pakistan. Sayed is a seeker on the path. Sometimes ago he has asked for one of my Sufi book Shah Bahauddin Naqshband – Life and Works. It was the response of a sheikh to an aspirant on various aspects. After the dialogue finished I realized the significance of the talk. Also I thought the content of the talk The Sufi Series

The Sufi Path and the seekers tawwzjoh is the energy field of the sheikh through which the saliq attains to the nisbet of Allah Subhan wa Taala via the rasool – Holy Prophet. Tasawwuf is the very essence of Sufism and that of man’s existence. Evolving out of Islam it has now become the part of the inner life of every aspirant. Islam centers around four pillars - Shariat, Hadith, Tariqat, and Tasawwuf. Of these Shariat and Hadith form the part of the outer body of the religion? And Tariqat and Tasawwuf form the inner core of The Holy Prophet. Both Tariqat and Tasawwuf are connected to the nisbet of the Holy Prophet. Tariqat teaches you the way to nisbet. And Tasawwuf prepares you for inner serenity, and for the continuation of the way of nisbet. In its essence tariqat and Tasawwuf are part of each one of you. Tariqat prepares you along the way and Tasawwuf preserves your awareness.

Life will certainly evolve out of the path of despair Your world will definitely undergo transformation Place your conditionings, thoughts and Understanding too at Thy feet Certainly His vision and grace will begin to flow!!! Sufism is the way of transformation. It is better to call this doctrine as Sufi Tariqat. It revolves around the Sheikh. Sheikh is the encyclopedia for transformation. He is the living book from the library of the existence. He may look like you! Walk like you! And talk like you as well! But he is different in many ways from you. As far as his awareness, his understanding of the cosmic phenomena is concerned he is totally different from you. The more you open the pages the more mysteries of the unknown will unfold. And then journey becomes easier. Let me take you through this living scripture page by page:
TASAWWUF: Tasawwuf is the beginning or the introduction to this methodology. The aspect of the Shariat that relates to Amaal-e-Baatini or esoteric states of the heart is called Tasawwuf and Suluk. And, the aspect of the Shariat that relates to Amaal-e-Zaahiri or exoteric or physical acts is called Fiqh. Tasawwuf deals with Tahzeeb-e-Akhlaaq or the way to adorn life and living while it aims at the attainment The Sufi Series
Page 10
The Sufi Path and the seekers of Bliss. The Bliss or surur is attained through the total understanding of the Shariat, and then subsequently living by it. Tasawwuf in fact is the rooh or soul and state of perfection of the Deen or life beyond. Its function is to purify the Batin or the heart or the qulb of the aspirant from the lowly bestial attributes of lust, calamities of the tongue, anger, malice, jealousy, love of the world, love for fame, niggardliness, greed, ostentation, vanity, deception, etc. At the same time Tasawwuf aims to adorn the heart with the attributes of repentance, perseverance, gratefulness, love of Allah, hope, abstention, Tauheed, trust, love sincerity, truth, meditation, reckoning, contemplation, etc. In this way, attention towards Allah the Unknown and Unknowable is inculcated in man. This is in fact the purpose of life. Tasawwuf or Tariqat therefore does not, at all negate Deen and Shariat. On the contrary it is incumbent for every seeker to become a Sufi or one who follows the path of Tasawwuf. Without Tasawwuf, a Muslim cannot truly be described as a perfect Muslim. And also without Tasawwuf the seeker cannot begin inward journey. Farz is incumbent upon every Muslim to rectify his esoteric acts. Numerous Quranic Aayat and innumerable Hadith narration explicitly indicate its significance. However, most people with superficial understanding neglect these because of their subservience to lowly desires. Remember The Sufi Series
Page 11
The Sufi Path and the seekers Quran and the Hadith are explicit regarding the significance of zuhd, Tawwjoh, Ikhlaaq, Sabr, Shukr, Hubb-e-Ilahi, Tawakkul, Tasleem, etc., while at the same time they emphasize the acquisition of these noble attributes? And, who is not aware that the Quran and Hadith condemn the opposites of these noble qualities, viz., Hubb-e dunya, takabbur, Riyaa, Hasad, etc., and has warned against these? What doubt is there in the fact that the noble qualities have been commanded and the contrary has been prohibited? This is the actual meaning of reforming the esoteric acts. This is the primary purpose of Tariqat. It being Farz is undoubtedly an established fact.

The Sufi Path and the seekers Syed Sameer Shah: Assalaam O Alikum Sir, Do u know MAWLANA SHAYKH NAZIM ADIL AL HAQQANI (Q)? TAOSHOBUDDHA: Yes I do. I come from NaqshbandiaMujadadia-Mazaharia Tariqua. My grandfather, great grandfather, and uncle are all Naqshbandi sheikhs(q) Syed Sameer Shah: AWLIYAALLAH?
What
is

TAOSHOBUDDHA: He is a Naqshbandi Sheikh from the ancestry of Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi. That is all matters to me. To judge a sheikh or his status is not the way of another sheikh. In the scheme of Allah Subhan Wa Taala even a blade of grass has significance. And nothing is without any reason. TAOSHOBUDDHA: I pay my salam and move ahead as I have miles to go before I sleep. Syed Sameer Shah: Well said MashaALLAH, Syed Sameer Shah: You are a Shaikh too? TAOSHOBUDDHA: Do I need to say? And to say something like this is the way of nafs. A sheikh is beyond the seven stages of nafs. He is a presence at the mukam of rooh. Syed Sameer Shah: Masha ALLAH, you talk wisdom, can I get some pearls of wisdom from you?

Page 14
The Sufi Path and the seekers TAOSHOBUDDHA: A sheikh is a catalyst who does nothing however in his presence the blossoming takes place. In his presence the latayaf or centers open up and the saliq journeys through the seven valleys to attain tobai quamil and journeys through various stages of fana and baka. Syed Sameer Shah: Masha ALLAH! Do you take bayah? TAOSHOBUDDHA: The work of a sheikh is mystical. It is like a doctor who after examining the patient decides the line of treatment. Certain saliq have inner preparation. Bayat is necessary but not the essential precondition. Sometimes full izazat- khilafat is bestowed on the murid even without bayat. This is a path as you travel the path is created. No two persons will have same path. Since each person is unique so is his path. Syed Sameer Shah: There is something I want to know,,, why does your name not resemble to any muslim name, like taoshabuddha, sorry if I offend u, I read your Works and Life of Shah Bahauddin Naqshband R.A, in which u explained the meaning of your name, is this your real name, or you chose it? TAOSHOBUDDHA: You cannot offend a sheikh because he is at the plane of rooh and it is from there he operates. After enlightenment one is free to choose another name. My work is not restricted to any particular path or taqiqa. People from different paths need to be transformed. And for this one has to rise beyond narrowness. One sheikh said ‘betassubi sadaket ki jaan hai’ ‘to rise above narrowness is the essence of haq’. The Sufi Series

The Sufi Path and the seekers
TAOSHOBUDDHA: I do not intend to remain confined to any particular path and be of no help to others. My uncle instructed - 'whenever allah subhan wa taala creates the ragvat in you for His work - open the ‘parchooni ki dookan’ - a spiritual department store when the weary seeker can sojourn. As a result if someone needs to know of the way of Gurdjieff, or Hindu way, or way of Buddha, or any other path of Sufis feels at home with me. Syed Sameer Shah: MAsha ALLAH Syed Sameer Shah: YOU refreshed me, TAOSHOBUDDHA: Roohaniat is beyond name form and all that is visible. When I was ten years of age I asked my nani walida 'what is my religion' she told me 'your religion is the same as that of god. On further enquiring what is the religion of God she told me to discover yourself. And when I reached I find Allah is simply a subtle presence. He is the pulse or the heartbeat. He is hidden in His creation. This is innocence. When I was born surur was my religion. To know allah subhan wa taal we have to rise beyond all narrowness or caste creed, race, and religion. I teach religion less religion when one can feel the something of the beyond fresh and sublime. Syed Sameer Shah: I am awe struck, I don’t have words, MAY ALLAH BLESS U SHAYKH TAOSHABUDDHA (Q), please remember me in your prayers!!

The Sufi Path and the seekers TAOSHOBUDDHA: A sheikh is for entire awam. And scribd.com and all such sites are the way to reach those who need help. When a sheikh or a master reaches a city he casts his Tawazjoh on the entire city so that all those who are on the borderline or seek assistance may have a opening. TAOSHOBUDDHA: This awe is one of the quality of innocence and the attribute of Allah. U will recall when you asked for the work on Shah Bahauddin the focus of Tawazjoh has been on you and since then I was waiting for your call. TAOSHOBUDDHA: as I am talking to you of Sufi path simultaneously I am editing the Hindu script (Bhagwad Gita) a book sent to me by another person from India. TAOSHOBUDDHA: At this stage the sheikh is no more identified with the container. Instead he is identified with the content that acquires any shape based on the container. And his is the essence of Allah to me. Syed Sameer Shah: Thanks for waiting, I have taken Bayah on MAWLANA SHAYKH NAZIM (Q), what I received from you was the nazar of my murshid, I received from him thru you, I like you, I was searching and searching and I landed there where it was destined, He was always wad me since childhood but i was the ignorant one, and still I am ignorant, Please pray I am always with my beloved SHAYKH all the time for eternity spiritually and physically

The Sufi Path and the seekers TAOSHOBUDDHA: To pray is childish and to be prayerful is maturity. To be prayerful is flowing with the will of Allah. Your individual will os merge in that of Allah. Continue on the path. It is your trust that will open up the grace of the sheikh in fact prepare you for the grace of Allah Subhan wa Taala. TAOSHOBUDDHA: If you want I can send you the book Tasawwure Sheikh. It is the memoires of my father about his sheikh that I wrote on his behalf. One of my murid from sweden has met Sheikh Nazim when he went to visit the shrine of Jalaluddin Rumi. Syed Sameer Shah: ALHAMDULILAH, it would be very nice of you to send me such a precious document! TAOSHOBUDDHA: Once again send me your e mail id and I will send you the document. This will strengthen your ties with Sheikh Nazim even more and you will understand the role of a sheikh even better. And whenever you need any help feel free to talk to me. I want to see you attain to taqmeel. Syed Sameer Shah: Insha ALLAH, my email id is : Syed Sameer Shah: I want to be in my Murshid, I love him, but I am very filthy and dirty to even touch him, I have never met him physically, if I did I think I won’t touch him it would not be nice of me to touch something so clean and pure,,,,,in the beginning I asked about my Murshid, I wanted to hear his praise, I like hearing his praising from anyone, especially people of your caliber, MASHA ALLAh, may The Sufi Series

The role of a sheikh is like that of the mother, or the washer man who cleans you and your outer apparel. When you happen to see Sheikh, rush for musaifa. Your uncleanly-ness cannot stain his purity. Instead his inner purity will remove the stains from your being. If a sheikh does not do this then he is not a sheikh. Syed Sameer Shah: HAQQ, Syed Sameer Shah: I am so grateful that you remembered me , I am so happy really TAOSHOBUDDHA: Be a haqqual yakin instead of ilmul yakeen Syed Sameer Shah: what is the diffrence between the two? TAOSHOBUDDHA: the first is the trust that comes with the experience of truth. When Holy Prophet went in the company of Allah after Meerazul Navi it was the experience of Haq - the direct contact of electric current. This is Haqqual yakeen. TAOSHOBUDDHA: The later is the trust that comes through knowledge or ilm. All those who have read or known this event may bring total trust as did Hazrat Abu Bakr because he was siddique. Thus he attained to haqqual The Sufi Series

TAOSHOBUDDHA: Others go on reading and yet still the experience of haq does not happen. TAOSHOBUDDHA: It is your love for the sheikh that opens the way for haq. TAOSHOBUDDHA: And this love is Tasuwwre Seikh. Syed Sameer Shah: We had a Ziyarah of HOLY HAIR of SEAL OF PROPHETS S.A.W. now on sufilive.com, Syed Sameer Shah: Pray that I be a haqqul yaqeen, ameen blessings to you of MAIRAJ UL ISRAA, MAY ALLAH SWT increase the station of my MURSHID PAAK, and yours, for eternity!!
