Coredial is a 30,000 square foot, tenant fit out, at the Arborcrest Campus in the Hillcrest I building. We worked with the client to design the space plan and also worked with them to understand their branding, which we incorporated into their new space. After the schematic and design development phases, we worked with Coredial and CFI to coordinate the furniture selection to work seamlessly into the final design concepts. By incorporating “pops” of color in the furniture and branding A4.01 we were able to use the neutrals in the remainder of the space to create a corporate, but fun atmosphere. This included collaborative areas for working, small informal private working areas, along with a game space to create a fun culture for all of Coredial’s employees. GEORGE T. The renovation of this office building included opening up “punched” windows to make room for new curtain walls and demolishing the entire front entry to make way for a new one. The accent metal panel wall gives the appearance of going “through” the building to the backside where it opens up to another new curtain wall to showcase the new stair in the interior. The lobby was also renovated to reposition the stair in the space, update the finishes and add an addition to the back. Programs: AutoCad, Revit, and Photoshop

1901 Market needed a complete interior renovation for Independence Blue Cross’ main headquarters. This renovation included a new five story curtain wall facade facing Market Street, a lobby renovation, a cafeteria renovation, and a refresh of the offices on every floor. This project was phased over multiple years. I took part in space planning and documentation of many of the floors, as well as helping with the signage, wayfinding, and dedication wall in the main lobby area. By creating renderings for IBC we were able to get their final approval for the designs. Programs: AutoCad, Revit, Photoshop, and 3DS Max.

Klein Hersh is a strategic placement company for the healthcare industry. We worked with them to create an open office space that would allow their employees to gather and collaborate while also having their own individual spaces. They were looking to incorporate their branding, so we used their colors throughout the space. We also worked with our in-house graphic designer to create a branding wall in their main entrance. Programs: AutoCad, Revit, and Photoshop.

This cider factory needed a renovation for the exterior facade and their interior office spaces. We worked to provide a new simple facade that would highlight the branding colors of their company. The old facade had a large roof overhang and soffit, which had roof drainage that needed to be incorporated into the new soffit structure we created. We also included new exterior lighting to highlight the building and landscaping at night. New EIFS panels and windows gave this building the curb appeal that had not existed before.

Located in the middle of a corporate office park in Columbia, Maryland, Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT) wanted to renovate an existing office building shell to incorporate a new style of office. These small “start-up” type tenants would each share a common amenities space within the building’s lobby. This included a pantry/cafe area, collaborative areas, common small meeting niches, phone rooms and a large conference room. The idea was to create a new “office type” that could be flexible and change with the millennials’ style of working. The finishes selected had an industrial feel which included, brick, barn wood and exposed ceilings. The exterior of the building also needed a new entrance and canopy to give a welcoming first impression.

“Lakeside II” Perspective

When given an empty site on the current Arborcrest Corporate Campus in Blue Bell, the goal was to produce two new buildings as part of a master plan for the campus. By using inspiration from the current buildings and adding a few new design elements, we were able to create a new “heart” of the campus by adding new amenities that could be shared throughout the campus. The building itself incorporated a lower level parking garage, private tenant balconies and a new plaza with a small cafe building. Programs: Revit and Lumion.

412 Mt. Kemble incorporated two large atrium spaces that needed small finish and lighting renovations. The larger of the two atriums was to be occupied by a tenant that is expanding into the remainder of the space. This expansion allowed us to design the atrium with collaborative spaces and tensile ceiling elements to make both a vibrant, usable space for the tenant and an aesthetically appealing space seen from the exterior entrance. Programs: Revit, Lumion, and Photoshop.

A building lobby renovation was proposed for a corporate office building in Yardley, PA. This lobby renovation would include a finish and lighting refresh. We proposed demolishing the current dark wooden panels and replacing the two-story space with new drywall and lighter wood laminate panels. Ceiling elements were also shown to be placed above the elevator lobby to add interest and new lighting. The floor pattern in the elevator lobby would also reflect the ceiling element above. The addition of builtin planters were suggested to soften the space.
