Dear Colleagues, It is with great pleasure that we welcome you at the 2nd International Congress of the Cyprus Society of Dermatology and Venereology, which takes place on the 25-27 March 2016 at the Grand Resort Hotel in Limassol. The Scientific Committee of the Congress aims to offer an interesting and influential scientific programme which will offer updated knowledge and information to the participants. This year, our programme is enriched with Workshops, Special Presentations and Satellite Symposia which will be presented by distinguished speakers visiting from Europe, the Middle East and Cyprus. The selected topics are relevant to the daily practice of the doctor, and they also cover subjects relevant to an array of specialties, like Dermatology, Paediatrics and Plastic Surgery to mention a few. Special attention has been paid to the two Workshops of Dermatoscopy and Skin Surgery. Both the workshops will be offered in two parts, a theoretical and a practical one. These specific issues are gradually gaining ground in the interest of the modern practitioner and therefore have been chosen to be offered to small groups of Dermatologists who are interested to attend. We hope you enjoy our Congress as well as beautiful Limassol. Best regards,
Yiannis Neophytou

ABOUT CYPRUS
New Limassol Marina
Cyprus, lies in the sparkling blue waters of the eastern side of the Mediterranean sea, and in the crossroad of three continents. It enjoys more than 330 days of sunshine each year, but besides its sandy beaches it is an all year round destination and has something to offer for everyone, from families with kids, those seeking relaxation, adventurous travellers, nature lovers and explorers!
Our host city Limassol is the second largest city in Cyprus. It is the island’s main port, a main tourist centre and the centre of the wine industry of the island. Limassol has two of the most spectacular archaeological sites in Cyprus; built on cliff tops the ancient cities of Amathous and Kourion are situated East and West respectively in the city with spectacular views overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
