5 TIPS FOR VISITING CAMPUS

1 2 3 4 5

Wear Comfortable Shoes

Your tour will cover the entire 273-acre campus so check the weather and wear appropriate clothing and shoes! ADA accommodations are also available.

Bring Your Questions

Your campus tour will be led by a current student, this is the time for you and your student to ask questions. You will also speak with an admissions counselor that is knowledgeable on all things Tarleton, from residential living and campus safety, to cost and your student’s next steps, and they are ready to answer any questions you have.

Plan Ahead And Make The Most Of Your Trip

The Welcome Center is here to make the most of your visit, take advantage of specialty tours that can be included in your day like Housing Tours, Ag Center Tours and Nursing Tours. If your student has a major in mind, email beforehand to request an academic meeting with their program.

Consider Visiting The Campus Bookstore

The Texans Campus Store is your one-stop-shop to get all your Tarleton swag. Pick out a t-shirt for the entire family while visiting and don’t forget: we wear purple on Thursdays!

Explore Stephenville

We highly recommend setting some time aside to explore Stephenville. Get a feel for the community and locate important resources like grocery stores, banks, and local restaurants. Ask your tour guide for recommendations on their favorite places.

For any accommodations, academic meeting requests, or additional questions email the Welcome Center at welcomecenter@tarleton.edu
