Standardized Assessment T-TRADE Assessment Item Development Pilot Cypress Jo Ann Bilderback, Director of Mathematics, Student Assessment Division, TEA T-TRADE is TEA’s innovative, collaborative system for teachers to develop and share high-quality assessment items. The T-TRADE process begins with professional development training on assessment best practices. Teachers then collaborate to develop new items and to review and evaluate other items created by fellow teachers. Items that are most highly rated may be field tested for possible use on state assessments. Other items may be made available for teachers to use in their local assessments.
