COLD PLATES Typical application areas: Airborne/land/marine radars Electronic warfare systems Power conversion systems Electro-optics and lasers RF generators/transmitters Power electronics cooling Our cold plates are custom-built flat enclosed heat sinks designed to accommodate any electronic components and remove their heat by means of liquid coolant that are used for power electronics cooling in both military and civil aerospace applications. Made of aluminum alloys by vacuum brazing, cold plates offer very high performance and reliability. TAT can manufacture cold plates up to 2.35 m long. Some cold plates are part of airframe structure.
