They’re the perfect playground to get creative with your displays. Mixing books of different sizes and colours with photographs or souvenirs to make the area look like your own; a small window into your soul. As the perfect mix between style and utility, wall-mounted shelves work best in spaces like bedrooms, living rooms, or home offices.

Luminous Lighting
Using metal accents in accessories for a space, give it that much-needed push that tie a space together. Lamps are a great way to incorporate different finishes and materials in a space while also adding the right mood to a space.
Lighting is essential to add to the mood of a space. Using natural materials like wood and jute, help a space feel warmer, and more inviting. Using angular shapes, and simple designs give the space a chic, but clean look.
Eclectic Furniture
A marble center table is the way to go if you prefer a more modern look for your living room. Not only does the angular design give it a cleaner look but it also gives your space a high-end, classy finish. A good way to add to this look is by incorporating other natural materials into the mix, like a wooden tray or a metal bowl etc.
An entryway table is the first impression you make on anyone who visits your house. A good path to follow is to follow a more minimal, or modern aesthetic where things are simplistic, and not cluttered. Playing around with different artefacts like vases or lamps, of different shapes and sizes, add more character to the space. Wall mirrors are a great way to make a space feel more open and bright. Using them in the entryway will help your home feel more inviting for guests, filling them with a positive feeling.
A linen closet is a must have for all homes. It serves a key role while storing extra linens, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and other soft furnishings like cushions when not in use. This can go anywhere between the bed room, and bathroom, and can be used to store anything from bedding to towels etc.
Essentially, the heftier items go at towards the bottom, to the things you need the least, all the way to the top.
Furnishing Flair
Furnishings can make or break a space so its extremely important to pick the right ones. The fabric of the blinds to the colour or design should be thought out carefully. If you want a light, and airy look, it is a good idea to stick to lighter colours and more floral designs. Adding cushions to a space, give it a more homely, comfortable look. Once again, the fabric, and colour should be chosen with consideration.
Pull-out shelves in kitchen cabinets not only save space but also help organize your space better. You have better access to all your ingredients and utensils without needing to rummage through everything.
This kind of kitchen storage can improve the functionality of your kitchen and make it more accessible.
Stylish Kitchens
A modern kitchen provides a sleeker, and a minimalist look to your space. Often featuring more geometric forms, these tend to have a more angular, and simple design. In a space like this, special emphasis needs to be given to accents like lights, tables, chairs. etc,
Accessories like mixers, cookware etc follow a simplistic design with bolder colors in such spaces.
Trendy Bathrooms
Contemporary bathrooms are designed from the perspective of being functional, as well as space-saving. This lends itself to a clean minimalist look with clean lines, and bold fittings. This not only makes a space feel bigger than it is, but also gives a feeling of serenity.
Even though a closet is only based in functionality, it can also be used to spruce a dressing space up by adding some open shelving to show off artifacts, souvenirs etc. Adding an element of light, as well as different materials can really make this seemingly only functional piece of furniture add life to a space.
To create an airy, but modern look in your living room, using lighter colours is a must. The use of mirrors and glass and can make a room feel more spacious.
Adding bold accents like gold lamps, make the space come alive. Playing with different materials for your center table like, metal and wood, ties the space together but also breaks up the monotony of using just one material.
Lighting, adds another dimension to a space and brings the look together. Hanging lights create depth, and give height to a space and help it feel more open.
Indoors Inviting
A fireplace is the focal point in a room. It pulls attention from all other elements in a space. It not only gives the room a more warm and cozy look but also adds a level of comfort to a space.
Not only do fireplaces create a relaxing ambiance, they also provide heating for the space on a cold winter day. They’re a perfect mix of design and utility.
Open Outdoors
Integral to human life, water is also an important design element in an outdoor space. It helps in creating a mood of calmness, and serenity in a space. A haven from city life. A place to recharge after a long day. The fluid and transparent nature of water helps a space come alive, and also adds positivity to a space by engaging with all our senses.
Open shelving is however one of the hardest tasks to nail down. A fantastic place to display ceramics, mementos, books, sculptures, or whatever else you’d like, open shelving not only livens a space, but is also a great way to personalize it. A good idea is to stick with a similar colour palate and not clutter the shelf too much. Use of different textures, heights, widths etc would help make the space more visually interesting.
