FRIENDS A Really close friendship doesn't just happen.... It takes time to build the kind of trust and respect that makes a friendship, a lasting one. Life is nothing without friendship because it’s the only relationships that provide freedom for oneself. Friendship is smooth, free flowing like river of dreams... That brings surprises all new, growing deeper day after day. Friendship can show how beautiful life is! "Shared joy is double joy and Shared sorrow is half sorrow", and in friendship, joys and sorrow are often shared, making life a happy one and full of contentment, too. True Friendship comes when, when silence between two people is comfortable and when everything is said , done and understood in just few words.

RUPEE FALLING DOWN
The Indian economy is in a dangerous position today and the situation can potentially spiral out of control. Here's how.
A current account deficit occurs when a country is importing more goods and services than it is exporting (if the reverse was true, it would be in a surplus). India's current account deficit has exploded 1125 per cent since 2007, going from $8 billion to $90 billion. In other words, India is importing $90 billion more than it is exporting.
However, in 2007, India had $300 billion in foreign exchange reserves. It could cover its current account deficit 37.5 times over. Currently, India's foreign exchange reserves have gone down to $275 billion: it can only cover its current account deficit 3 times.
India's current account deficit has grown steadily throughout the past 5 years: it did not just balloon up overnight. Since many of the countries that trade with India only accept foreign currencies in return (mainly the greenback), it would seem obvious for India to continuously maintain a growing stockpile of foreign reserves through the years; alas, India did not do that. It's no wonder that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh tried to reassure the country that unlike 1991 when "the country only had foreign exchange reserves for 15 days of imports.... now we have reserves for seven months". What are the current signs pointing to?
12
1. Rupee weakness Further weakening of the rupee due to a lower supply of dollars and higher interest rate abroad. 2. GDP growth Economists predicting a lower GDP for the current fiscal year, a disastrous sign since we just witnessed a GDP drop from 6.2% to 5% from the last fiscal year to the current fiscal year. 3. Current account deficit A further rise in India's current account deficit. 4. Foreign reserves The government signaling that within months it might run out of foreign reserves. 5. Short-term debt $170 billion in short-term debt to pay, while in 2008 it was just $80 billion. 6. FII investment From May to August 2013, FII investments in India having gone down by $2 billion. 7. Elections Both the private and public sectors staying clear on investment strategies until next year's elections. When taking all of this into account, it will require a heroic effort by the newly appointed RBI governor, Raghuram Rajan, to prevent a currency crisis from unfolding.

MIT students' shocking cure for Facebook addiction Charge up your keyboard
Two MIT doctorates have worked out that the best way to solve Facebook addiction is shock treatment. Robert Morris and Daniel McDuff have developed a device they call Pavlov Poke, named after Nobel Prize-winning Russian physiologist Ivan Pavlov. In his study of dogs, Pavlov found that a stimulus ringing a bell could be linked to a previously unrelated response, creating what's known as a conditioned reflex. While Pavlov's cat experiments did not work, as the cat kept walking off, Morris and McDuff wanted to use Pavlov's technique to deter the use of Facebook. The pair created an Arduino-based keyboard hand rest that shocks computer users who spend too much time checking the social network. The device could be altered to punish over-reliance on Google or any other website. It could also be used to prevent kids from logging into sites they shouldn't. In the UK David Cameron could use it to stop people finding out anything at all. Morris said that the technique was too good. The shocks were so aversive, the researchers removed the device quickly after installing it. He said that as a result he's no longer "dragged to Facebook by some mysterious Ouijaensue compulsion". The system does not have to zap you. It could be configured to respond to excessive social networking with howler telephone calls thanks to Amazon.com's on-demand labour service Mechanical Turk.

Samsung's Galaxy Round is the first phone with a Curved Display The Korean firm has just sent out a press release announcing the Galaxy Round, “the world’s first curved display Smartphone.” With the curved display, Samsung can offer Galaxy Round owners a range of “exclusive experiences,” like a roll feature that will let them check date, time, missed calls and battery life with the display off. Users will also have the ability to tilt the phone to control things like music, pictures and videos. To be honest, the press release isn’t very clear on what features the curved display brings about, or how they’ll work, but we’ve pasted the full presser below for you to peruse yourself. Some photos released by Samsung, so check those out below:
In terms of specs, the Galaxy Round features a mammoth 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display, and weighs in at 154 grams with a waist line of 7.9mm. To deal with such a beastly screen size, the Galaxy Round will also include features like One-Hand Operation, letting a user put customizable controls on a specific, close corner of the display. Users can also run multiple applications in the same window, or run simultaneous multiple instances of the same application if they so choose. The phone will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean on a 2.3GHz quad-core processor, complete with 32GB or 64GB of internal memory under the hood. The Round will also sport a 13-megapixel rear-facing shooter and a 2MP front-facing for video chat, as well as a 2,800 mAh battery.
27
As it stands now, the Galaxy Round is only going on sale in Korea, and will come in “Luxury Brown,” with more colour flavours to follow. Exact pricing and availability were not disclosed. To discover more, please visit http://www.samsung.com.

“APP THAT HELPS PEOPLES RECORD DREAMS” Want to remember that delightful dream you had? There’s an app for that! An app that helps! an app that helps people record , remember and analyse their dreams has been created and if it successes scientists can learn various aspects of dream. The app called SHADOW, looks likes an alarm clock but works differently .Its wakes its s users up over a 5 to 30 minutes period of escalating sounds. The slow gradual call is intended to preserve states in which people can more easily recall there dreams. Modern alarm clock actually destroys dream because what they do is they rip you through your hypnopompic sleep (states between sleeping and waking) so fast. As soon as the user turns off the alarm , a microphone setting turns on, and user can recount their dreams , which the app will transcribe into text . User can type, speak or answer questions to record their dreams. You are really struggling to remember what you dreamed, you can opt to answer a series of 5 to 10 questions designed to joy your memory. The whole process takes less than 5 minutes SHADOW visualises the user’s sleep and dream patterns and identifies common themes. Using dreams content of other users, this app turns the symbol and experiences into sights.
