THE PRODUCT
My product is hand sanitizer. I choose this product because in the village where we went there is lack of sanitation. People there sometimes don’t wash their hands before having their meal and also there is shortage of water.
THE STORY
The reason why I selected sanitiser is as there is lack of hygiene and water supply. Villagers don’t have running water in their homes, they have to fetch water from wells. Wells only have limited amount of water present in days of summer.The World Bank estimates that 21 percent of communicable diseases in India are linked to unsafe water and the lack of hygiene practices. Further, more than 500 children under the age of five die each day from diarrhoea alone. Why sanitiser? Because it will help them preserving some water they use to wash their hands and it will reduce the chance of getting infected.
TARGET AUDIANCE
My target audience is the whole rural market from children to adults. They usually wash their hands with soil and water which is sometimes dirty and polluted and they need the stored water to drink and to spread some of it in their productive fields.

LOGO APPLICATION
OBJECTIVE OF PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGN
A series of advertisements using various marketing tools that share the same message and ideas to promote a business or event to a target audience. The typical campaign uses different media resources including internet, newspapers, television, radio, and print advertising. My objective is to promote health and sanitation among rural people by introducing a new product, a sanitizer which will spread hygiene values among themselves. This will reduce the amount of communicable diseases thus saving their money usually spent on medicines and treatments.
