Summer Sermon Series Other than Jesus, perhaps no figure is more recognized in the Gospels than Peter. He certainly is in the middle of the action right beside Jesus, revealing some great truths about a life of following Jesus. But we also identify so much with Peter because of the highs and lows, ups and downs, good moments and hurtful embarrassments in life. So walk with us through the life of this well-known disciple and we'll find out that Jesus is ready to transform and use us just like Peter.
Grace Filled Marriage CONFERENCE
AUGUST 25-26 | TAYLORS FBC You want your marriage to be the best it can be, but the reality of life can put a damper on your good intentions. Begin by treating your spouse the way God treats us, with grace! Come learn how to ignite your love story at the Grace Filled Marriage…Making Love that Lasts event. Author and speaker, Dr. Tim Kimmel brings hope, help and healing in this radical approach to marriage. Don’t miss this life-changing event! Dr. Tim Kimmel is the founder and Executive Director of Family Matters, whose goal is to see families transformed by God’s grace into instruments of reformation and restoration. Tim loves it when churches and families are healthy and strong. He loves it even more when they work as a team. He believes the best way to pass on saving faith and a transformed life is within the nurturing confines of a loving home. To help others achieve this, he has developed resources, conferences, and media tools to equip and encourage parents, grandparents, churches, and couples. 2 | TAYLORSFBC.ORG

ENGAGE THE WORLD. Regeneration Student Choir REACH Trip to Charleston
SHAW COMMUNITY CENTER AND JAMES ISLAND OUTREACH Building shelves, stocking them and gathering fresh produce to be distributed.
SCRebuild "Homeowners are so appreciative and see the prospects of actually moving back into their home as we helped with tearing down and taking out to now beginning to put up drywall and ceiling."
BASKETBALL “The kids who came to basketball camp just want a safe place to be during the day. We had the chance to build relationships with them through drills and games.”
Salt Lake City REACH Trip The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field. Matthew 9:37-38
READING CLASS “We planned a reading group but God other plans! He provided an opportunity for us to get to know kids on a personal level and help people with special needs.”
ART CLASS “It's not about the art or the crafts, it's about loving the kids.”
UKULELE CLASS “Through the ukulele class and lessons, God has shown us the kids mostly need our attention and love.”
CEF BIBLE CLUBS North Charleston: The kids have been receptive and we had the opportunity to minister to the local sponsors. Summerville: Very slow start but we kept working at it and helped those who will later lead.
“This verse gives us hope. We know the workers are few here in Salt Lake City, but we also know and trust the harvest will be plentiful. We spent our days praying through the neighborhoods and communities in Utah County, helping the missionaries and church planters, and loving on the people there. Our goal: to plant seeds, to create a good image for the Evangelicals, and to encourage the missionaries.” Please join us in praying for Salt Lake City and the surrounding county, which contains the least reached metro in the United States. Pray the percentage of Christians in Salt Lake City, which is currently less than one half percent, will grow. Pray for the workers of the Lord’s Harvest and for the plentiful harvest.” Madi Coggin, 2017 Salt Lake City Team Member
