Writing Your Own Mi Sheberach

WRITING YOUR OWN MI SHEBERACH

When we recite the mi sheberach, we tend to think of it as a prayer for someone who is physically ill. At times, however, it’s the mind that needs healing. And just as we pray for someone to recover from a physical challenge, we must pray for those confronting challenges to their mental health.

As you can see, there are a multitude of ways to reimagine the traditional mi sheberach in relation to mental health. Do you know someone who needs mental or spiritual healing? Perhaps you will be inspired by what you have seen here to write your own mi sheberach for them and are open to sharing it as a communal resource. If so, please email us at info@thebluedovefoundation.org.
