We craft the design story and set the precedent for design conceptualization through site study and image-based visualization. We engage all stakeholders to refine the design story into the concept design which becomes the DNA of the project.
We develop concept planning and imagery into 3-D spaces through elevations & sketchup views, layered with spatially specific materials and FFE selections, in schematic design.
In design development we begin the documentation process of the refined design to estimate pricing and have a clear view of design and cost prior to construction documentation. We execute construction documents, materials and FF&E specifications based on a clear construction phasing schedule and manage procurement of non-GC items for opening.

Influenced by Southern California marina culture, travelers and locals alike love this new local hot spot. Feeling like a sunny vintage boat club, tone on tone stripes set the stage in both the Del Rey Room and SALT restaurant. Each area is connected with brass fixtures and custom millwork. “Captains” lounge and dining chairs are mixed with vintage rugs, art and hand painted signage giving the interior a cool comfortable feel.

Poetry Inn
The interior design refresh of the Poetry Inn in Napa Valley, achieves the feeling of casual appropriateness, of coming home. The assortment of textures and natural materials create a stimulating and modern, yet comfortable, contrast to Poetry Inn’s elegant, timeless cottage architecture. Accents of greenery, decorative surprises and unique art in each suite engage guests. The five suites, which are themed after famous poets such as Emily Dickinson and Robert Frost, have been pepped up with decorative artwork by artist Michael Duté who was invited to use Poetry Inn’s walls as his canvas. Duté’s artwork pays homage to the poet after which each suite is named. The walls of the Robert Louis Stevenson suite are adorned with stanzas from “My Shadow,” while the Robert Frost suite features a mural of the woods from “The Road not Taken.” The central lounge, continuing the writing theme with antique typewriters, invites guests to relax with an oversized sofa.

Four Seasons Napa Valley Private Residences
NAPA VALLEY, CALIFORNIA
The Four Seasons, Private Residences are freestanding buildings with expansive private suites. Designed for families and larger groups, the residences is inspired by the agrarian heritage of the region. Sprawled across one to two floors, each offering up to 4 bedrooms, the farmhouse-style villas feature indoor and outdoor space for entertaining, and luxurious master suites, as well as private terraces with views over the vineyards and out towards the mountains.

Lumina Hollywood
Renovation of a residential high-rise in Los Angeles. Lumina is at the nexus of all that’s best in Hollywood and needed an interior refresh to embrace the creative spirit of the local community. TCA’s Interior Design studio provided two concepts: bright and fresh, & edgy and industrial. The client selected elements from both concepts to be incorporated into the final design. The renovated interiors will see an introduction of texture, warmth and artistic interest to evoke the fresh energy of the LA lifestyle.
