Poem by Casey Allen

With a breath of fresh air, I am lost in a stareHow did I get here?

Velvet skies for as far as I can see Never again looking for what’s behind me.

Thick white blankets to my left and my right, Footprints ruin them as I walk toward the light How can I feel so warm in a place that’s so cold?

I’m blinded by beauty in an aura that is blonde; My heart starts to twitch for the love that I’ve longed.

I don’t know this feeling, but it feels like home I’ll follow it forever, into the unknown.
