GALVESTON COUNTY DAY AT THE CAPITOL

On March 1, 2023, teams of 3-4 people from Galveston County government offices and chamber members from Texas City-La Marque, Galveston, Santa Fe and League City-Bay Area will visit members of the Texas legislature (House and Senate) in Austin to meet about projects that need state support to implement. The projects include topics such as coastal protection and port improvements. Also, the teams will deliver the Galveston County’s legislative agenda booklet, gift bag and an invitation to Saengerrunde Hall for a legislative reception.

If you are interested in being a Team Leader or volunteering, scan the QR code to pre-register for the event. Chartered buses will leave from varying locations across Galveston County. Whether you will be utilizing bus transportation or not, let the chamber staff know in the application so you can be placed on a legislative agenda team correctly.
