LEADERSHIP MAINLAND Leadership Mainland learns about local health care

Leadership Mainland focused on health care at its June session. The group was greeted at HCA Houston Health Care Mainland and heard excellent presentations from the executive team. Afterward, class members were able to tour areas of the hospital.

The group also visited the UTMB Health–Pediatric & Adult Primary Care clinic in Texas City. They were treated to a delicious catered lunch and were joined by the clinic leadership group. After lunch, the class visited the Galveston County Health District in Texas

City. The group heard presentations on public health and coastal wellness from several departments.

The last stop in the session was at Memorial Hermann Convenient Care Center League City. The group heard a presentation from the executive team and also was given instructions on how to properly apply a tourniquet.

The Chamber appreciates all of these local health leaders who gave valuable time to inspire, inform and motivate the members of Leadership Mainland Class of 2023!
