LEADERSHIP MAINLAND

Leadership Mainland focused on entertainment and media at its September session. The group met at the Texas City-La Marque Chamber of Commerce office, where they heard from Galveston’s Unscripted JR Shaw. The group then departed for The Galveston County Daily News office, where they heard from Editor Michael A. Smith. They also were given a tour of The Daily News facility and were able to see where the papers are printed.

The session included a stop at the Mainland City Center. The Leadership group was given a tour of the building, led by Developer Jerome Karam.
