Police Action League basketball tips off this week

THE Police Action League is back and the youngsters will take to the court this week for the opening clashes of a more comprehensive season.

This year the players will battle in 13-and-Under, 15-and-

Under and 17-and-Under divisions.

The event tips off on Friday at the Gustarvus Lightbourne Sports Complex court with two clashes in the oldest age division.

In the opening 17U games from 5:30 pm on Friday, Avengers will battle Seaquest, followed by Badgers taking on Skyhawks one hour after.

The action bounces off on Saturday with Commanders tackling Guardians from 9 am, Seaquest against Avengers from 10 am and Badgers against Skyhawks from 11 am all in the 13U division.

The 15U division will bounce off from midday with Commanders versus the Guardians, Seaquest against Avengers and Badgers against Skyhawks.

At 3 pm, the 17U battle continues with Commanders tackling Guardians.
