FINISH CARPENTER

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE NEEDED:

Hold a minimum of 4 years’ experience in the field of finish carpentry – including, but not necessarily limited to, internal doors & frames, baseboards, lumber roof finishes and millwork in general. Some experience in rough carpentry (formwork etc.) would be an asset – but not essential.

Have a concise understanding of all finish carpentry materials and be able to fully interpret, read and understand architectural and shop drawings and have a very high level of finishes experience.

Employee must be fluent in written and oral English. Other written and oral languages would be an asset (in particular French and Spanish). Employees will also need to be computer proficient as many drawings and schedules being used on site will be computer/tablet based not in the form of hard paper drawings.

Able to work under own direction and able to manage subordinates. Employee must be willing to work outside of the normal working hours of operation (weekends and public holidays) as may be reasonably necessary to complete any particular task as may be directed by the employer from time to time.

Salary $15 per hour (subject to overtime and public holiday pay where applicable)

Plant Manager

• 2ND in Command to GM, in conjunction with Operations Manager.

• Min 15 yrs experience in industrial & manufacture operations.

• Min 5 yrs Customer Service or Sales experience.

• University degree required.

• Responsible for management of entire facility including; production assessment, software systems & upgrades, building maintenance, repairs & expansion, equipment needs & purchases, truck maintenance, chemical inventory & orders.

• Parts inventory; implement system, manage, order & track online.

• Mechanical knowledge; understand & operate equipment.

• Technical knowledge; accurately discuss requirements with Vendors.

• Computer software proficiency; to operate all computerized equipment.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Exceptional computer skills and experience.

• Must be able to operate independently & responsibly.

• Critical thinking skills and experience required.

• Available to manage various shifts as required, to cover other Managers & Supervisors as needed.

• Must be fluent in English.

• Starting base salary US$120,000
