Stakeholders laud TCIAA’s efforts to alleviate congestion at airport

An ongoing project to alleviate congestion at the Howard Hamilton International Airport (formerly Providenciales International Airport), has been lauded by tourism stakeholders.

The Turks & Caicos Hotel and Tourism Association (TCHTA) and Ministry of Tourism recently joined stakeholders on a tour and communication session hosted by the Turks & Caicos Islands Airports Authority (TCIAA).

In 2022, the TCIAA embarked on an intensive Congestion Alleviation Project at the Howard Hamilton International Airport an undertaking of over $4m, to offer a better experience for travellers. The tour served as an incremental progress update to give tourism stakeholders insight into the work completed to date and ongoing works planned.
