ENGINEERING SURVEYOR NEW WORK PERMIT

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Surveying and Geographics with experience in marine bathymetric surveys would be an asset.

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS.

• Leading the survey crew in the field performing a variety of surveys in land and at sea

• Capturing and preparing as built survey drawings with detail sections.

• Positioning and holding the vertical rods, or targets, that surveying equipment operators use for sighting to measure angles, distances, and elevations.

• Using GPS, RTK System and Total station in setting out positions of

SANDBROOK structures.

• Prepare reports and keep accurate record and research records; maintain surveying files.

• Assist in supervising site team and trades.

• Carry out surveying on multiple projects.

• Assist in the development of methods and procedures for conducting field surveys.

• Use equipment and tools to accurately measure land features. (Longitudes, latitudes)

• Build maps, sketches, and charts.

• Daily reporting and attendance of meeting with the Director of Operations & Project Manager. Salary is based on experience
