AIESEC

Our Organization AIESEC is the world’s largest student-run organization and the leading platform for young people to develop their leadership potential. AIESEC is composed of over 38,000 student and recent graduate volunteers from over 107 countries, plus a network of over one million alumni that includes leaders of industry and heads of state. AIESEC provides its members with the skills and experience needed to transform them from high-potential students into the leaders of tomorrow. AIESEC’s innovative development process consists of unmatched leadership experiences and global internships.

Leadership Experience

+

Global Internship Program

Leadership A key advantage AIESEC members have over many students is that they regularly acquire real-world skills and experiences, often relating to their areas of study. Volunteering in AIESEC fosters valuable competencies including leadership, teamwork, interpersonal skills, and time management. AIESEC members volunteer 8 to 20 hours a week while managing university and jobs because they recognize that their AIESEC experience is an investment in their future. The Global Internship Program AIESEC’s Global Internship Program connects companies with an immense talent pool of the best and brightest students. Those students are in turn provided with work experience in either management, technical skills, development, or education. All parties benefit immensely from the inevitable exchange of international perspectives and global ideas. For over 50 years companies have relied on the Global Internship Program to meet their employment needs by gaining access to a global network of responsible young leaders.

That means there is practically an AIESEC conference occurring every day in the world! These conferences are run in support of our core work: developing student leaders and facilitating global internships. By participating at an AIESEC conference, students are exposed to a unique learning environment that develops certain leadership qualities. This learning environment is possible through individual discovery, team experiences, mentoring, virtual spaces, seminars, and learning circles.
