Welcome... Scuba Do Zanzibar, a PADI 5-Star Gold Palm Dive Centre, offers all PlanHotel properties the most professional, eco-friendly diving, snorkelling and watersports activities. Our main dive base is located at La Gemma dell’Est, which is a scenic 30 min transfer from Neptune Pwani, Mapenzi and Dream of Zanzibar. Although our primary focus is on scuba diving and snorkelling, we can organise any activity available on the island with the best operators. While some companies believe they can do everything, we believe the best services are from those operators who focus on what they do best!
Private Charters or Private Guides... With Scuba Do, you can choose if you would like to join a scheduled excursion or organise your own private charter for any of our activities. Alternatively, you may wish to have your own private guide on a scheduled excursion. We believe it is your holiday and you should have whatever you desire – so long as it is within our safety guidelines! We strive to take you where you want to go, whenever you want to go!

Learn to Snorkel... If you
have never tried snorkelling before, let us introduce and guide you with a lesson in the shallow water followed by a snorkelling excursion to a stunning coral reef!
Snorkelling Excursions... Surround yourself with an abundance of reef fish
and enjoy floating over the spectacular corals on the fringing reefs around Kendwa Reef, Tumbatu Island or Mnemba Island. Our snorkelling reefs are easily accessibly by our custom speedboats with journey times ranging from 5 to 30 minutes.

Scuba Diving... Zanzibar’s coastline offers some of the best diving in the Indian Ocean.
Our sweeping coral reefs, made up of hard and soft corals, are home to a spectacular variety of tropical fish, turtles, dolphins, stingrays and eels. With a passion for the aquatic realm, our eco-friendly instructors and divemasters are well versed in our local marine life and enjoy sharing their knowledge. Our list of weird and wonderful sightings includes weedy scorpionfish, Mauritius scorpionfish, seahorses, leaf fish, pipefish, and a variety of shrimps and nudibranchs just to name a few.
Dive Sites... With more than 20 dive sites, we can cater to divers of all experience levels
from beginner through to professional. We dive the beautiful fringing reefs around Tumbatu Island, the stunning patch reefs of Hunga and Nankivell, the bizarre scorpionfish reef known as Shamzi, the magnificent hard plate corals of the East Coast fringing reefs and the famous Mnemba Island. For the very experienced divers and those who want to go a bit further, we can make a deep dive on Leven Bank in the Pemba Channel or dive the south side of Pemba Island.
Scuba Tune-Up... For
certified divers who have not been in the water for a few months or more, we offer quick scuba tune-ups or thorough scuba refresher courses.

Our professional team of scuba instructors believes that anyone can learn to dive and has the patience and expertise to train the best eco-friendly divers.
For the Kids... We love working with young people and introducing them
to the amazing underwater world. The Bubblemaker experience in the shallow water is for 8 – 9 year olds to join us on scuba (no deeper than 2m). From the age of 10 years, they can join in for the Beginner Courses below, however 10 to 11 year olds will be limited in depth (no deeper than 12 m).
Courses for Beginners... You do not need to decide if you simply want to try scuba in the shallow water or set out to earn a PADI certification, at Scuba Do one step leads on to the next. Try scuba, carry on for discover scuba dive, in 2 days you may achieve PADI Scuba Diver and carry on for a total of four days to earn your PADI Open Water Certification!
Courses for Experienced Divers... Continue your dive training with
