These bodies of work represent the concept of the creator becoming the created. Throughout the downtown core of Toronto there are various skyscrapers and man-made buildings that have only flourished over time and are constantly changing and being recreated. The concept of these pieces is to take those buildings or creations and have them projected on that from which they came, a human. The bright colours represent the liveliness of the city and are also used to make the images pop upon the model’s skin. The images are projected directly on to the skin allowing the images to adhere to the natural curvature of the human form, much like the buildings create the natural form of the city.

Selected Works Through out Tiia’s four years of university, she has gained a variety of skills, explored various types of photography, and further explored and developed her talent in this environment. These selected pieces of work highlight this and showcase her passion for the art form.
