Resolution 116 (page 14)—Finance The estimated cost for pet boarding to be added as a reimbursable expense is $15,000 to $30,000. This based on 58% of Canadian households owning at least one dog or a cat1. It is difficult to predict how many members will submit a claim for pet boarding. However, for the purposes of this calculation, it is assumed that about 5% of members engaged in BCTF business will claim for that an average daily pet boarding cost of $30 to $50 per day. More information is required on potential impact on school mailings if printed materials are sent out.
