his class is my first contact with pronunciation and phonetics and I have to recognize it have been such a challenge for me. Usually when you learn a language the

way I did- living for a couple of years in an English speaking country- you acquire pronunciation by listening; rarely you stop and think about the way you position your tongue or your jaw to make the correct sound for a specific word. Now I cannot talk without thinking if I am pronouncing the words right. A good pronunciation will definitely help us to be better teachers; our students will understand us better and will learn by observing us the correct pronunciation of the English phonemes. I have learned a lot and the quarter is not finish yet, I know there is lot more I still have to learn.
