o C e h T t e e M Coaching soccer at Garden City High School has been an amazing experience, and I consider the last 3 years as the best part of my life so far. It is an honor to be able to coach such a great group of kids that work hard on the field and in the classroom. I also cherish my time working as a Teaching Assistant for students with autism. With my free time I enjoy spending time with my family.

This is my second season at GCHS. I’ve previously served as a coach for Lamphere and Bishop Foley Catholic High School, along with player development with Vardar East and Michigan Xcel. I enjoyed a four-year playing career at Concordia University - Ann Arbor, while also earning a B.A. in Physical Education. My future plans include pursuing my Master’s degree from Concordia - Irvine in Coaching and Athletic Administration.

I’m 14 years old, so as you could guess I’m a freshman. The position I play on the field is goalie. I’ve been playing soccer for 11 years now. One thing I enjoy about playing for Garden City is that we treat each other like a family. Hopefully, after high school I will attend MSU to be a veterinarian.

I am going to continue to play for the High School throughout the rest of my years here! In the fall I plan to play for my old team - The Pumas.

My favorite thing about the game of soccer for me is the challenge, I love always trying to get better and being a part of a family. My position is usually forward, but I play midfield sometimes or wherever. My favorite soccer player is Cristiano Ronaldo #7.

Freshman: Defense Soccer is my absolute favorite sport, I have been playing for the past 9 years as a defender/midfielder. My favorite thing about soccer is the competition of the game and the team bonding experiences.

Freshman: Forward I play soccer because it’s fun. I love playing even if I don’t get that much of it, every time I go out I always put my best foot forward. I did cheer for four years. I made tennis this year but I quit for soccer. I would like to attend the New York Film Academy (Los Angeles) for photography.

I love playing soccer at Garden City because it teaches players the concepts of hard work, discipline, and leadership. When I graduate high school I want to go to college, then work in a children’s hospital as a pediatric nurse.

Freshman: Defense In my spare time I enjoy reading Greek Mythology books especially The Hero’s of Olympus and Percy Jackson series. My grades are as high as they can possibly be at a 4.0 GPA including many advanced classes. Hopefully next year I will have improved enough to make varsity.

Sophomore: Defense, Midfield My favorite position to play is right mid. I’ve played soccer since I was 5 years old, and my favorite thing about it is the intensity level of each game, and being part of such a great team with great coaches.
