Bicycling through Europe. Why is using upcycled materials in creating so important to you? Upcycling and recycling have always been important to me, but it is more important than ever to make the best use of our limited resources as possible. And when I take an old piece of fabric and turn it into something that still has a useful purpose and is beautiful it brings me joy! The things I create are intended to reduce the negative impact we have on the planet. What’s your favorite summer song? There are so many, but I’ll go with Bruce Springsteen’s “The Girls in Their Summer Clothes”.
