Our admission process seeks to get to know you, not only for your academic performance but also for everything that makes you a unique and extraordinary person.
An objective evaluation? Yes! The information you share with us about who you are, what you are passion ate about, and the unique ways in which you can contribute to our student community will be reviewed in detail only by an Admissions Committee. This is how we assure impartiality and confidentiality.
Please check the dates on which you can carry out your admission process for our August 2023 term. The sooner you complete it, the more likely you are to secure your place and obtain benefits.

REGISTER AND FILL OUT YOUR ADMISSION APPLICATION ONLINE 1
a.
Create your account
You will need to have a personal email in order to create a user account and generate a password. These will give you access to our Tec Application page and allow you to consult the status of your process.
b.
Fill out your application
Select the campus and undergraduate degree/program of your interest. Then, fill out your personal information as indicated in the different sections.
Send us these documents:
• Birth certificate.
• Proof of termination of high school studies (or baccalaureate, preparatory school or equivalent in your country) with your grade average*.
• Copy of the official signed photo-ID of the person who will be responsible for paying your tuition.
• If you are a minor (less than 18 years of age as per Mexican law), we need a copy of your official signed photo ID** and a copy of the official signed photo ID of your father, mother or legal guardian.
• If you are an adult (18 years of age or more), a copy of your official signed photo ID.***

** If you are a minor, your official ID could be your: passport, school ID card, ID card from an official educational institution, documentary proof from the school with a photograph, driver’s license, and other official IDs of your country of origin.
***If you are an adult, your official ID could be your: passport, proof of military service, professional license, official ID of your country of origin or official ID of the Ministry of National Defense or the Ministry of the Navy.

c. Send your admission application
Click on the icon Send once you have filled in all the fields. If you are a minor, before sending your application, the family member who has been accompanying you in your admission process needs to validate the information provided. To this end, he/she will receive an email at the address they provided.

The Tec Application page displays all the requirements according to your profile and the under graduate degree/program of your choice. Make sure you fulfill all the requirements. A significant part of our process is getting to know you as a whole. This is why we ask for your résumé and an essay.

a. Share your résumé with us
The résumé is a brief description of your academic path. It includes questions on the achieve ments, skills, and aptitudes you have attained and developed during your high school studies. It is important to have evidence of the activities you describe there, since we might ask you to share it with us.
b. Write your essay
Let the words flow. Tell us, in writing, about the experiences that have helped you become the person you are today, your future expectations, and the reasons why you consider you should form part of Tec de Monterrey.
The résumé and essay are decisive elements for making an admission decision. Complete both documents in the sections indicated.
PAY THE ADMISSION PROCESS FEE
Find the amount you have to pay on the Tec Application page, then select your payment method:

SCHEDULE AND TAKE YOUR TESTS
a. Academic Aptitude Test (PAA)
This test evaluates your math and verbal skills. On the same Tec Application page, you can select the date and time for taking this test. You will receive an email with clear, detailed instructions for taking the test.
Before taking the PAA, we recommend taking advantage of the different tools available to help you prepare:
PruebaT: is a diagnostic test to familiarize you with the PAA’s structure and type of questions. It will also help you identify your strengths and areas of opportunity through the feedback and information it offers. Go to: pruebat.mx
PrepáraTec: is an online workshop offered by our professors that you can take at your own pace. Go to: admision.tec.mx/PreparaTec
If English is your native language, you can take the SAT (which is equivalent to the PAA). Register at: https://satsuite.collegeboard.org/sat/registration/international-testing

b) Institutional English placement test
On the Tec Application page, you can also select the date and time to take the English place ment test. Remember that you will need to show a photo ID the day of the test.
c) Additional requirements
The Admissions Committee could ask for additional requirements, such as:
• Letters of recommendation.
• Additional assessments to be administered at the campus.
• Personal interview.
FIND OUT YOUR ADMISSION RESULT
Once you have completed the process, you can find out your admission result delivery date. On that day, the Admissions Committee will issue the result of your application, which you can view on the Tec Application webpage.
The decision of the Admissions Committee is final, and the selection process is private and confidential.
ENROLL AND FORM PART OF THE TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY COMMUNITY
If you receive a positive result, confirm your entry by paying the tuition advance payment at: solicitud.tec.mx
