Samsung Galaxy A30 Review technicalkanu.tech/2019/03/samsung-galaxy-a30-review.html

Samsung's flagship smartphones have been popular among those who have the ability to buy them. But for the last few years, the company was not as aggressive in the budget segment. This year the situation has changed. Samsung has tried to create a stir in the market with the new Galaxy M and Galaxy A series handsets.

After testing Samsung Galaxy A50 (review) and Galaxy M30 (review), we had come to the conclusion that these handsets worth less than Rs. 20,000 are worth buying. Now Samsung's latest smartphone Samsung Galaxy A30 is challenging to Samsung Galaxy Grand 30 of the Samsung brand. In this case, it would be interesting to see how its performance compared to the Galaxy M30. Answer this question through the review ...

Samsung Galaxy A30 design If seen, Samsung Galaxy A30 is a big phone. Samsung has a 6.4-inch display on the front panel of the Galaxy A30, which comes with a thin border. The bottom border is slightly wide. But it does not prick the eyes. Galaxy A30 has a full-HD + Infinity U display, like the Galaxy A50 and Galaxy M30. Due to the Super AMOLED panels, Colors Vivid comes. Text and image appear The company did not mention Gorilla Glass or any other glass protection. However, during the review, the screen of this phone does not have any scratches.

Glossy side and back panels look good, but fingerprints fall easily on them. The phone is fine slim. It does not have a problem for gripping. The button given to the right is given glossy treatment with the rest edges. There is space for two Nano SIM cards and MicroSD card (up to 512 GB) in SIM tray. The speaker is the place below for 3.5mm headphone socket and USB type-c port.

Although the last part of the display may be glass, it is plastic. In common use, it does not easily scratch marks. The fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone is upwards to our choice. We had to stretch our finger a bit in order to get access to it. But the sensor works fast 1/7

There is also a choice of Face Unlock in the phone but it does not work fast even if it is light enough. You will not get your run-to-wake gesture in this device, this means you have to turn on the display by double-tapping.

In the retail box, you will find a SIM eject tool, power adapter, USB type-c cable and headset with adapter fast charging, besides phones. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy A30 is a great phone that looks great even after being made of plastic. It will be found in multiple colors but we have a black version available. Which looks more gray than black in appearance.

SamsungGalaxy A30 specification and feature Like the Galaxy M30, the Samsung Galaxy A30 also used the Octa-Core Acinos 7904 processor. Only one variant of Galaxy A30 is available in the market, with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage variants. Samsung has not told detail about the specification of the phone on its website. But with the help of select Android diagnostic apps, it is clear that the phone has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, gyroscope, hall sensor, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, compass, GPS, FM radio and USB-OTG.

The main difference between the two is the OS. While the Galaxy M30 runs on the Samsung Experience based on the Android 8.1 Oryo, Galaxy A30 comes with Samsung's new One UI based on Android 9 Pie. Our review unit had security patches of February 2019.

This phone comes with Samsung PayMini, which is a cut-down version. With this help, you will be able to set up the UPI account, gift card, and payment wallet. This device also supports Android Pie Digital Velbying. As soon as we started using the phone, we received many promotions from the Galaxy app and even when we did not even open the app. You can also opt-out if you wish to set up the Samsung App Store.

Samsung Galaxy A30 Performance In the case of general chat and productivity apps, the performance of the Galaxy A30 is stagnant. But 2/7

Experience is not very smooth. Because the lag is realized when switching to a Bixby home screen. Whether you open the Gallery app or take a tab with the Recent app to switch between apps after taking photographs, this reduction appears.

The benchmark scores of this phone did not come great. Especially when you buy handset equipped with MediaTek Helio P70 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor at the same price. The good thing is that the phone does not get too hot. It only gets hot when the phone's CPU and GPU are used too, such as when playing PUBG Mobile Even after shooting a lot of pictures and videos, this phone does not overhaul. The Acinos 7904 processor for gaming is a great chipset, but for a smoother framerate, the graphics setting has to be reduced a bit. Game graphics settings like Asphalt 9 Legends and PUBG Mobile run smoothly when they are slightly reduced.

While playing the game and watching videos on youtube, the voice from the speaker is not very fast. Notification is not given on the phone, but if you wish, you can see the time and enable the Always-On display for notifications.

Samsung Galaxy A30 Camera The Galaxy A30 has a 16-megapixel primary camera with an Apache called F/1.7 and a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera with no auto-focus. In the Camera app, you will find the Sean Optimizer, this feature we first saw in Samsung Galaxy S 10+. This feature automatically identifies the object and adjusts the exposure.

We notice that it also boosts the color slightly. While shooting in Landscape mode, enough details are captured while shooting, more items can be captured in the frame while shooting with wide-angle sensors. Barrel distortion can be seen when using a wide angle camera. Due to lack of autofocus, Details is not even as captive as a primary camera.

Macros come with enough detail in the light, and colors are also accurate. Edge Sharp and Well Defined are good things. Despite wide aperture, landscape photos get blurred in low-light and lack of detail. Noyz is controlled, but the photo quality is not good at all. Photos are even worse when switching to a wide-angle sensor. The picture quality 3/7

of macros is still slightly better but it is still below average.

The Camera app has Panorama, Pro and Live Focus mode. With the help of Live Focus mode, you can adjust the background blur level before and after clicking the photo. Edge detection is good. However, in low light, shooting in live focus mode gives photo patch and lack of detail.

The 16-megapixel front camera for The selfie has been given, which has an aperture F/2.0. It works correctly in light of daylight. Selfie is a bit soft with our choice. But colors come in handy and HDR also works right when shooting light. There is also a live focus here. But edge detection is weak. In low light, the deficiency of deliveries is lacking in selfies and the gains appear to be clean.

Samsung Galaxy A30 Battery Life A battery of 4,000 mAh battery has been given to boost the phone. The battery lasts 15 hours and 8 minutes in the video loop test, which is much better than the average. In common use, it will easily co-opt for one day. The fast charger that comes with the phone charges up to 70 percent of the phone's battery in one hour. 6/7

Our decision In addition to better battery life, AMOLED display, and build quality, there is nothing special in Samsung Galaxy A30. The Galaxy M30 is only 1,000 rupees, but its camera performance is better and it comes with bigger batteries, more RAM and storage. That too with the old Android OS If you want, then the Galaxy M30 can buy 4 GB / 64 GB variants for Rs 2,000 in cheap.

Given the price, the Galaxy A30 the processor does not seem to challenge Oppo K1 and Redmi Note 7 Pro from anywhere, giving better apps and gaming performance. The camera of Galaxy A30 disappoint. Even in optical illumination the cameras take photographs of average quality and have low light output disappointing.
