PLYPAKTM Custom Engineering Splice & Termination Kits
Plypak is a complete, custom engineered kit designed for a specific splice or termination job. Plymouth can custom design a splice for practically any application from 600 Volts to 138 kV whether it’s a standard installation or a one-of-a-kind job. Our custom designed kits include functionally designed materials, and clear, easy to understand instructions. All Plymouth splice and terminations are engineered to meet IEEE 404 and IEEE 48. Typical Plypak applications include PILC joints, transition joints, tee joints, wye joints, armored cable joints, pennant (Plyjoint) joints, pennant (Plyjoint) terminations, Stress Wrap joints, Stress Wrap terminations and reduced length terminations. You supply the job specifications and Plymouth/Bishop’s engineering and design staff will generate drawings, installation instructions and bill of materials for your application, pack your custom designed kits and ship them to your job site. For complete information, refer to the Plypak Brochure or call your local representative.
