To fully support customers in making the right choices for their products, SCUDO has developed its own R&D center, including a fully operational test bakery, where customers can test and evaluate SCUDO solutions and see how these might fit into their processes. To meet these customers’ needs SCUDO has developed an AGV solution. AGV’s can be very valuable in these systems when resting times are needed and when there are special requirements on stress levels for the dough. Special bins can be used to reduce stress or to allow proofing or autolyse.

The advantage of using AGV’s with these types of mixers is the mechanical ease of the plant. This solution has a lot of advantages:

• In multiple mixer systems: guaranteed production, even when one mixer is being revised or repaired.

• Possibility of continuous cleaning of the production plant.

• Open system: personnel or forklifts can pass through the production area without disrupting the production.

• Complete integration into a fully automated production process. A complete autonomous process can be offered from ingredient storage until bringing the dough on the line.
