Testing BIG in world class laboratory The XXL climate chamber is built in 2020/21 and it is a world class laboratory for testing of large products and components. The climate chamber is i.a. connected to a transcritical CO2 plant, a CO2 and ammonia cascade plant, and two permanent evaporators.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Internal measurements of the climate chamber: 8.1 m x 4.2 m x 6.6 m/6.0 m (L x W x H) Temperature range from -50 °C to 75 °C Design temperature range from -75 °C to 75 °C Humidity range from 10 %-rh to 100 %-rh Transcritical CO2 plant, capacity: 126 kW at -8 °C 19 kW at -32 °C Ammonia (NH3) plant, capacity: 100 kW at -10 °C 35 kW at -30 °C Gas cooler, capacity: 234 kW at 35 °C Power: 125 Amp
