The Reality of Redemption Preached by Dr Ramson Mumba at 10am on the 17th of August,2009
Dearest folks... With the earnest desire of the Lord from the Word of His Grace, It brings me great pleasure to introduce to you, Dr Ramson Mumba of El-Shaddai Ministries International, a man called and sent of God to this generation, with a Word of great power and authority...
Through the Anointing and Power of the Holy Spirit, God raised Dr Mumba from what social scales would define as being a poor immigrant student to being a well supplied, well equipped and heavily Anointed force of change in the Body of Christ, through whose influence the kingdom of darkness will never recover from...
Over the last 13 years, Dr Mumba has been used mightily of the Lord to plant several Christ-centred, Bible-based, Spirit-filled living and growing churches in Bradford, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Nottingham, Sheffield, and London, here in the United Kingdom, in his native Lusaka Zambia, and most recently in Houston United States of America... All of the churches are multi-cultural representing a true coat of many colours, and they are made up of people from all walks of life.
Having the ever-abiding gift of the Lord Jesus’ discernment of spirits in constant operation in my life from my ministry of Intercession, I can personally testify to the cleansed atmosphere in the Haywards Heath and Golders Green areas as a result of the influence of the London plant when my wife and I attended the 2009 Change Experience Conference which’s messages I am now directed to share with you starting from the Reality of Redemption... I am fully persuaded, that as you give rapt attention to the Word, you will experience positive change in your financial fortunes every bit as dramatic as mine...

This is my Bible... I am what it says I am... I can do... what it says I can do... I have... what it says I have... this morning... I will be taught... the Word of God... and I boldly confess... that my mind is alert... and my heart is receptive... and I... will never... be the same... again... because of the incorruptible... indestructible... ever living... Word of God... therefore... I declare... in the Name of Jesus... that this is... my receiving day... this is... my receiving day... and I... expect... a miracle... today... in Jesus Name... amen... amen and amen...
Father we thank You, we honour You, we came to glorify... Your precious Name, it’s so good just to be welcome... in Your Presence and stand before You without fear, guilt, shame... or inferiority because we are washed... in the blood of Jesus, we are the righteousness of God in Christ... I thank You Lord that I am anointed today to teach Your Word with simplicity, understanding... and I also thank You... that these Your precious people are equally anointed... with an anointing of understanding and courage, to hear... and to do Your Word... for Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore Lord today, we choose to get Wisdom... and in all of our getting... we get understanding... in Jesus mighty Name we pray, and everybody said... amen...
The book of Galatians chapter 3 please... the book of Galatians... chapter 3... I am going to endeavour in the sessions... that I have the privilege to take... to lay some foundational stones that... will, if you like be... the basis upon which... everything that will be declared according to the Word of God, in this conference can rest... because there is a foundation that needs to be in place, if you are to have confidence to receive from God, on the level that we will be talking about... as a matter of fact, if you do not have these foundational things... you will come to the place where you begin to think that what’s being said is too good to be true... but it will be my assignment to show you... the legal basis... from the Word of God... that obligates God, and puts Him... in your debt if you like... to bring certain things to pass, because of what He had already instituted in His own mind, way before you and I came into being... So in the book of Galatians... chapter 3, please notice the thirteenth verse, the scripture says Christ... has redeemed us from the curse of the law... being made a curse... for us... for it is written that cursed is everyone... that hangs... on... the tree... that the blessing... of Abraham... might come upon the gentiles through Jesus Christ, that we might... receive the promise of the Spirit through faith...
Now the apostle Paul... here begins to write and says... the anointed Jesus... and His anointing... has redeemed us... from the curse of the law... and He redeemed us by becoming a curse... for us... everybody say “for us...”, that means...
He stood in
our place, and in my sessions I’m going to talk to you... about your identity in Christ... you and I, when we got born again... we... we became such new species of beings... that God literally has to introduce you to your new self, if you are to understand who you are... and so it will be my assignment... using the scriptures in this
conference to introduce you to the person that you’ve become in Christ Jesus... if you understand that say amen... now notice, he said Christ redeemed us from the curse... from the curse of the law, and... notice... we are redeemed, not going... to be redeemed... we’re not hoping to be redeemed... we’re not wishing we can be redeemed... this has already taken place, would you repeat this after me: I am... redeemed... already... come on say it again; I am... already redeemed... ok that means now you’re not sitting at the bus-stop or the airport or... wherever you want to go to... and waiting on your mode of transportation... waiting for that thing to come to pass... right now... right here... in London... at the Hippodrome... on the 17 th of... August 2009... it’s already an established fact that you are redeemed... let there be no questions or doubts and you must know it without any equivocations that... listen, I am the redeemed of the Lord... and Christ, redeemed me from the curse of the law... having become a curse... for us... so... in my sessions I am going to talk to you about... the reality of redemption... I am going to talk to you about... the... principle of substitution and identification... for we can’t just talk about substitution without dealing with identification, the Bible said, He redeemed us because He became... a curse... for us... He stood in our place... but we have to then ask the question, if He stood in our place, then where do we stand now, and if He became like us, what have we become... so we’re going to handle all of that... we’re going to deal with the fact that... you are not going to twist God’s Hands, because some people make us... you know those of us that are wild enough to believe God... they make us sound like... that we’re just greedy, and we’re just kind of trying to get God to do... something for us, that He wouldn’t otherwise do... nah... no, no... you’re going to find out, before you were born... He had already decided... and if you aint’ got no guts to... stand on your redemption, and receive what’s rightly yours, you have no business talking ugly about some of us, who have the courage! ...to stand on our redemption, and receive what God has for us... do I have a courageous people in the house...
So, so we going to talk about that, then we’re going to deal with our new identity in Christ... because we... the whole of human history, is nothing but the story of two men... we have the first Adam in... whom we experienced the fall, and we... became subject to death and sickness and disease and poverty and lack and... and all the things that the sin precipitated... it opened the door to... but, but then we are also... in Christ Jesus, Who is the last Adam meaning... we’re not going to need anymore... from the Adams’ family after we receive Jesus... the Adams’ family is no more hello somebody... but the first Adam... was made... a living soul... and yet the last Adam... became a life-giving Spirit... in the first Adam you were just a living soul but, in the last Adam, you are a life-giving spirit... and we’re going to find out... that you don’t even need to be prayed for in a prayer line, that’s elementary... because in the last Adam, if the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead... lives on the inside of you, He will begin to quicken! make alive! ...your spirit... I’m going to calm down because this is the first session... so now, notice this... ...Dr Mumba chuckles... you can tell, my spirit is charged... but if the last Adam, gave us access... to more than what Adam had lost in the fall (Romans 5:17 amp), we must begin to understand all of this... we are going to deal with your identity... the world wants to define you... that’s why... people who are not saved... have an opinion
if you’re not a Christian, you don’t qualify to give an opinion about the Kingdom of God... the Bible says, you are dead... in your trespasses... and dead people can’t comment... on matters pertaining to the living... no wonder you misunderstand this, because you can’t see it... the about the Kingdom of God...
Bible says, if you don’t get born again, you can’t see the Kingdom of God... you’re like the Jehovah’s witnesses, standing on the tower trying to see the Kingdom... you never get through to it... all you will do is print some magazines and you know... pontificate about paradise, when it aint’ going to be like that... paradise aint’ going to be like the lion you saw in the watch-tower magazine, ok, I’ll leave you alone... ...Dr. Mumba chuckles... but if you are not born-again, you don’t qualify, you don’t understand the Kingdom of God... I don’t care how intellectually brilliant you might think you are, I don’t care what kind of philosopher you might think you are... I don’t care where you matriculated from... I don’t care how many letters you have behind your name... you can have so many Phds and Ddds behind your name... that you can ham dixy just with your titles... but if you’re not born again... the least in the Kingdom of God... is greater than the best of the world... so we’re going to... have to come to a place in this meeting where we are free to receive... don’t let the world talk you out of your inheritance... they are dead... they can print what they want to... they are dead in their trespasses... they can say what they want to, but they can’t perceive accurately... because they’ve been disconnected from the life of God... so, we’re not intimidated... tell your neighbour, I’m not scared of you... come on
we are the church of Jesus Christ... and we’re going to be a glorious church... without spot or wrinkle... and we are on our way to receiving, everything that Jesus died to procure... for us... come on, give the Lord a hand of praise in the tell your neighbour, I’m not scared of you... no...

it is the testimony of the scripture... that those of us, that are born again... are not just trying to be blessed, we are
already
blessed... we got born... into an
inheritance... and when we were redeemed, notice he said, we were redeemed... from the curse... of the law... but I want to begin today by defining what... redemption is... because contrary to... what some people would have you believe... true religion... and Bible faith... is reasoning with God... in the scripture... to determine what He will do in your case, based on the precedents that’s already set...
Bible is a legal document...

when I was a student, and...
studied English law, I... I understood that... there is no way to adjudicate a case... without referring to precedents... and the Bible is a legal document, and you are going to see this... there are some things that God can’t do just because He wants to... there are some things that are illegal for satan to do in your life just because he wants to... there are legal precedents... and God... or the devil can both be indicted by the Supreme Court of Heaven... on the basis of the
written Word of God... which is the Constitution of the Kingdom of God... but let’s talk about redemption...
To redeem number one means to buy back... something that was lost... or stolen... to redeem... means to buy back... something that was lost or stolen...or something that you even sold... erroneously and then you had... you know... by remorse... there was a dissonance... a dissatisfaction in your soul when you let go of something... because, perhaps you didn’t understand it’s worth and value... to redeem means to lose from a bond... it means to set free... from captivity or slavery... it means to exchange something... in one’s possession... for something else that’s possessed by another... it also means to ransom... by paying a debt off... to redeem... means to ransom... by paying a debt off... so when the scripture says, Christ has redeemed us... it is saying you’ve been bought back... from the curse... in other words, you have no business... in the realm of the curse... you don’t live there anymore... halleluyah... when he talks about losing you from a bond, as part of your redemption... I don’t care if your daddy was bound... your mama, and your grandpa... everybody in your family... were addicted to this thing, or were susceptible to this kind of condition, you are now in Christ Jesus, and if any man be in Christ Jesus... the old... has gone... and the new has come... and all things... have been set aright... why... because you have now... been loosed from the bond... you have no business carrying guilt... and condemnation... anytime you carry guilt and condemnation, you’re in the flesh... and those that are in the flesh can’t please God... you can’t please God because you are self-conscious... the first thing that sin does is... it will produce a self-consciousness... the first thing that happened to Adam and Eve... when they sinned was... they realised that they were naked... up until then, they were so God-conscious... they never even had the opportunity to look at their physical bodies... so if you’re in guilt today... if you’re in condemnation... if you’re concerned about... how... people perceive you... stand on your redemption... it means to set free from captivity... or bondage... and we’re going to slaughter a lot of religious cows in these sessions...
Notice, when you were redeemed... don’t get the idea that God went to pay the devil... when, your redemption was being carried out, God never even transacted with the devil... other than to disarm him... when the ransom was paid, when the price was paid... God did not pay the devil...
He paid
Himself...
oh, you going to see this... that’s why, satan... shouldn’t even be in your vocabulary, why... because, because... now that... the sin issue has been dealt with, there is no place for the devil in your life... and sin can no longer have dominion over you, and death can’t dominate you... because, of your redemption... and don’t get the idea that you owe the devil something... and the devil is going to get you... the devil can’t touch you! ...oh, you going to find out tomorrow... because you died, and your life, has now been hidden with Christ in God, before the devil can get to you... he has to get through God... and then he has to defeat Jesus, because
you are hidden!
...with
Christ in God... halleluyah... somebody say, I am redeemed this morning... that means... God... has exchanged your life... for the life of His Son...
In redemption... you recapture... your lost self-worth... if you’re walking around... feeling inferior... or even superior... or you don’t even know who you are... there is a... there is a pandemic... it’s not just an epidemic... it’s a pandemic of epidemic, it is just way over there... people don’t know who they are... some people don’t even know whether they are a man... or a woman anymore... it’s a generation that is confused... and the Bible gives you that in the book of Romans, one of the signs of the endtimes... is... gender... confusion and role reversal... we will deal with that... in this index of what it will show us... to show what times we’re living in... but in the death... of Jesus Christ... He restored... your worth... back to you... why... because...
God’s value... of your life... when He evaluated the price to put... on your life... and purchase... your life... because you are going to find out, it’s a legal transaction... the price... He paid... to obtain you... was the life... of His Son... which let’s me know in God’s eyes... you are as valuable as Jesus Christ... so nobody can put you down, and nobody can even confer worth on you... they can only confirm what God has already done... and you ought to hold your head up high! ...you’re a King’s kid! ...some people talk about the house of Windsor, but some people have never talked about the house of Jehovah! ...ah... let me... and you going to find out, we’re royalty around here... we’re royalty around here... that’s why nobody can make you feel inferior... you’re looking at prince Ramson right now... glory to God... and I’m not striving for an earthly crown... that will fade away and die... but I’ve been raised... up... to sit with Him... in the heavenly places... heyy! Halleluyah... and now, God said... that’s your value in this world... so you have no reason to feel inferior... just because they said you don’t talk right... just because they said you don’t have a degree... just because they said your mama... you know... was a single parent and you grew up on the council estate... look at you... your accent doesn’t sound polished... look at you... where you live, and what you drive, and what you wear... those things do not define your worth! ...the worth that God said you have! ...is the worth of the Son that He paid! ...for you... and you are the redeemed of the Lord...
and it
is time... you said so!
So that’s what we’re going to deal with this week... so every time... one of these awesome men of God... declares receive! ...you ought to say, bless God I’m worthy to receive... because God... saw me as worthy to receive... if He did not spare... His only Son... the book of Romans 8:31... how much more! ...shall He give you all
if He gave you Jesus!! ...why is it that you don’t think you are worthy to receive a house... so things together with Him...
when we talk about redemption... we have to come to this realisation where we understand... this is... on the basis of what God said, not on the basis of what
they said... sometimes you’ve got to tell folk... you didn’t pay for it... so shut your mouth... sometimes you’ve got to have an attitude... hello somebody... see, see the arrogance in which... unbelievers walk... they think the whole world is theirs... they really have no problem... with a sinner prospering... a guy can be selling condoms and fly a jet... and it’s ok, because it’s a corporate jet... a guy can be selling cigarettes... and killing people... every time he puts the cigarettes on the counter, or on the shelf... he even has the honesty by law, he wasn’t honest, they forced him to be honest... to put the thing on there saying... “...fool! ...this is going to kill you!” ...Dr. Mumba chuckles... but oh yes amen, he qualifies to fly a private jet... because he is a fund manager... he qualifies to live in a fine house... but if you say, I’m a child of God, and God made me rich, and no man made me rich, except God only... they say, oh you
no! ...you don’t tell me what to be! ...I read it in the Word! ...and the Word of God... is the Truth! Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean, you going to have no business getting rich...
intimidate us! ...what the frazzling do you think this is!! ...your granny’s yacht...
It’s the same thing folk are trying to do... “well... we can’t have churches... just... being for Christians... we should... allow... you know... all kinds of people to use the churches... let the muslims... and the... Buddhists... and the... homosexuals use the church and get married in there... because it’s going to be for public benefit...” ...we’re not saying we are exclusive! ...we gave to build the church! ...so we can worship our God! ...”well... let’s not have faith schools, because faith schools discriminate against people of no faith...” , we didn’t come to your house with a gun to your head saying bring your child to our school! ...if you don’t like faith schools, why don’t you build an atheist school, and see who comes to your school... you don’t have to stop us from worshipping God, hello somebody... if the homosexual and the... and people have issues, and that’s not the biggest thing by the way... and listen... even Christians have issues... don’t let me get into that... some of you Christians get excited “O yes amen!” ...no no no... it’s just one of the issues like you got your own issues... let me look at you, you got your own issues... with your tonguetalking self you got your own issues... but here is the deal, but you can’t stop us practicing what we believe, just because it’s offending somebody else, let him build his own stuff! ...so if you don’t like it... that I am supposed to be well... hot cheese... if you don’t like it... that the Bible says in the book of Psalm 112, notice I quoted the Bible... Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, and delights greatly in His commandments, his seed... shall be mighty upon the earth... the generation of the upright shall be blessed, and wealth and riches shall be in his house, if you don’t like that... go read some other book, but let me believe what... I... read... in... my... Book! ...joyous laughter from Dr. Mumba...
...glory to God... you should give people a little bit more credit... they are not stupid because... they are not stupid, that’s why they give... no... they are intelligent, they just understand some things you don’t understand... they understand... the Anointing... they understand... the Kingdom of God... they understand that
God is not deficient... and we’re not propping Him up... no... it is us who need His Power... so we connect to the Power of God, and support His Kingdom, just like you support your own football team! ...by the way... let me tell you something... this year... the Anointing... the Word of the Lord came to me... ...Dr. Mumba chuckling... see see... my members know because eh... I was glad very glad... when I noticed that the Ghanas... started off the Premier league... with 6-1 glory to God... yeah! ...and again I say yeah! ....we are winning the Premier league this year, we say yeah for the Ghanas... ok, that’s a joke, let’s get back to the Word... ...Dr Mumba laughing... glory to God man... watch out Chelsea... watch out Man U... watch out Liverpool... watch out Stoke-on-Trent... watch out Scarborough ....Dr. Mumba laughing... we’re just mentioning you because it’s a politically correct thing to say... ...Dr. Mumba Chuckling...
Somebody say I’m redeemed... now what is, the curse of the law... the curse... of the law... can only be determined in terms of it’s definition... by going back to the law... to find out... what the Word says... the curse of the law was... now... the expression... the... law... as it is found, in the New Testament... always refers, either to the Ten Commandments, or the Pentateuch, the first five books of the Bible... either the Ten Commandments or the first five books of the Bible called the Pentateuch... so every time you find the phrase... the curse... of... the law... you must realise... it’s referring to either the Ten Commandments... or... the Pentateuch... now... in reading the Ten Commandments... it is well established... even non-believers know the Ten Commandments... that, in the Ten Commandments, there is no curse... so if we are to determine what the curse of the law is, we have to go back and read... the first five books of the Bible... to understand what the curse of the law is... so here we go, number one... the curse of the law... is the second death... for God told Adam... in the day... that you eat... of the tree... of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall surely die, and we will see... a lot of that in detail... during this week... and... when Adam... ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil... the scripture says he died... now... don’t get the idea, that death... is the cessation of the physical body... no... death... in it’s essence... is separation from God... for, notice... the day that Adam ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil...he died, but it took him 930 years later... to literally... lay his body to the dust... but he already died... so the curse of the law... number one... is the second death... number two, the curse of the law... as we read, particularly in Deuteronomy chapter 28... beginning in... verse 15, and the curse is enumerated... in great detail... you begin to find out... that the curse of the law... constituted poverty and lack... before the fall... man was abundantly
the scripture says... part of the curse of the law... is going out working so hard... and coming back with little... before Adam fell in the garden... he was commanded to work, supplied... and
but not to toil... he did not... gather his food... by the sweat... of his brow... he... had to work! ...and that’s why even when you’re a believer... you have to work! ...that’s why the best working people must be Christians... instead of having your prayer meeting... that lasts throughout the lunch hour and ten minutes more... hello somebody... thank you for your enthusiasm... you should be the best workers... right there at Barclays, or Natwest... or wherever you work... why... because you understand
that... work... gives you... an ability.... to maximise... the expression... of your God-given potential... but before Adam fell, he worked but didn’t have to sweat... there was no toil in it... i’m trying to tell you... this week... there’s going to be an Anointing in this house... that releases over you... that potential once again... to go back to the realm of sweat-less! ...victories... ...Dr. Mumba chuckles... let me say it again... there’s gonna be an Anointing... released in this house... from this pulpit... by men and women of God, as they preach the Word of God... it will take you back to the realm... of sweat-less! ...victories... do you receive that today... come on, give the Lord your best shout if you receive that...
the curse of the law... constituted sickness and disease... actually, when you read Deuteronomy 28, you begin to notice that halleluyah... thirdly,
there are eleven sicknesses and diseases enumerated in Deuteronomy chapter 28, and you begin to notice... in verse 61 through to 65, he begins to say... even every curse that’s not written in this book of the law, calling it the book of the law... he says, it’s under the curse! ...so sickness and disease... is a product of the curse... somebody says, “well, God made me sick...” ...God can’t make you sick... “well... you know, God made me poor...” ...God can’t make you poor... no... you don’t need a covenant to be poor... you can do that pretty good by yourself... you don’t need God to make you sick, you don’t need a covenant to be poor... the Bible gives you a perfect recipe of how to be poor... a little sleep... a little slumber... a little folding of the arms... and suddenly poverty would come upon you... like an armed man... notice... poverty... was not discussed as a blessing... it was called a bandit... a thief! ...that robs you... it robs you of your dignity... it robs you... they line you up in a soup line... and every time they have to increase your allowance this week... they talk to you like you are a dog... hello somebody... and here is the deal... no... you’re redeemed from that...
So you’re redeemed from dying young... call the undertaker... call the funeral director... get your expenses back... you... are... still... here... tell your cousins... don’t get used to me living broke, busted, and disgusted... sharing one room with you... I’m on my way to my wealthy place... because I have a covenant of redemption! ...and I exercise my covenant right... and in the Name of Jesus, it takes me... it might take me a few years... but I’m coming out of here! ...and I’m going! ...all the way... to my wealthy place... I’m redeemed... from not having enough... tell... your doctor... thank you doc... I appreciate your wisdom... you
God’s not against doctors, take your medication if you have to... faith... must have corresponding action... don’t die, in the name know, because some Christians think God is against doctors...
of faith, and give God a bad name... if your faith is not big enough... to bench-press cancer, don’t take on cancer... you’ve hardly believed God for a head-ache... you going to be another statistic and they’ll say... see, we know somebody else who believed God and died... he died... because it was like a... like a little child, trying to lift... a whole 100 pounds... faith... is a muscle... at one point in this ministry, I couldn’t believe God for all the things that have to take place... in all our 7 locations, in all these cities... to build churches... and raise up pastors... we were... our faith... wasn’t there yet... but now our faith is strong, we’re about to launch in the United States, because we have what... a
higher... level of faith... and now we’re going global! ...taking on the world, glory to God... because our faith! ...can make that thing come to pass...
So notice... you have to work, according to corresponding action... so you’re redeemed... from the second death... that’s why terrorism doesn’t scare us like it scares some of you... you’re so scared... now... if you got somebody who looks like the stereotype... image of a terrorist... that the media has portrayed... you go checking on your neighbours... “...are you... you are a terrorist, there must be a bomb in the kitchen...” ...leave your neighbour alone! ...hello somebody... nah... you see... see, when you get a revelation of what we’re going to talk about, you will... you will begin... let me preface it by saying this... a lot of you think, that the purpose of life, is to live
the purpose of life... is not so much to live long, as much as it is, to fulfil! ...your God-given destiny... the apostle Paul at 56... long... longevity has it’s place, and certainly it’s a covenant right... but,
56 years old... having turned the world upside down... he declared... I have run my race... I have finished my course... 56! ...how do you say you’ve finished a course... because the purpose of life... is not so much longevity, as much as it is, the life of God that you cram in your life... every day, be present in the moment... every day... serve the purpose of God, in your generation... every day, make a mark that cannot be erased... every day... be like... the, the son... of God there... right there... able... who though he be dead, yet he still... speaks... he is dead, but his Word... is still... here... I intend to stay Anointed... so much so that even when I am dead and gone... my voice will still speak... ok, ok, I will leave that alone... but, but notice this... notice this... you are redeemed... from the second death... so you don’t have to worry about that... now... here is what I want to... show you today... you are not... trying to get God to do something... that He is not fully persuaded of... you must understand... that redemption... was God’s idea... so... it is not! ...your... initiative... therefore... don’t let anybody... condemn you... for having the heart... to receive...
Now... here is what I want to show you... to... to get this point across... there are 3 Hebrew words... that the Bible uses... to describe... this... transaction of redemption... because, knowing... that you’ve been bought back... that you’ve been loosed from every bond, every addiction... you don’t have to be on crack cocaine... you are a free man or woman today... the ownership has changed... you are not the devil’s, you are... the Lord’s... you are not your own, you’ve been bought with a price... knowing... that God confers value on you... He’s exchanged the Life of His Son for your life... knowing! ...that the price, has been paid... Jesus Christ is your
substitute... it was a vicarious substitute... it was penal... substitution... I’ll leave that alone... but, you know... most of you... know what the word vicar is... or you think it’s a person... but the word vicar literally means... somebody who stands...in another’s place... that’s why you have no business being a pastor, if you can’t stand in people’s place, without judging them and believing in them.... and giving them the best opportunity... even when they mess up... you’re not the judge! ...you are to love them through their issues... just like when... Adam fell... God did not reject him... God instituted a plan of redemption... but He loved him through the mess... that’s what a vicar is... that’s what a pastor is... you’re not a pastor just because you can preach a
sermon... and then ruin people’s lives... because you are afraid... what they did will reflect badly on you... no... the unrighteous choices of your Christian children... even some of you, let me talk to you parents... when your kids... you’ve raised them up to believe in God... and then they go get pregnant... and because you’ve been so vocal about... teenage pregnancies and... you know, parading your family as.... as the beacon and the standard of purity... and, and holiness... and then she gets pregnant... and now on Sunday you’re like, I can’t go to church because my daughter got pregnant...no, no... get your big self up... get your little self... get your tall self, short self, whatever self you are... get your blessed self ...and take your blessed assurance to church...

get pregnant, she did... you don’t have to be ashamed... now, and here is the other part... don’t let the church get you ashamed of your own child... yes, you don’t condone what she did! ... but you don’t start fighting your child, in order to fit in within the parameters of your brethren... don’t you know

I heard some people say, I’m looking for a black Jesus, I don’t need a black Jesus... I don’t need a black Jesus, I don’t need a white Jesus either... you know, some of you people take Him to your house... “...come on Jesus, let me show you your picture at my house...”, you know the picture you hung upright at your house, He’s got blue eyes and blonde hair and He says, that’s not Me... ...Dr. Mumba chuckling... glory to God... but I don’t need a black Jesus... the scripture describes Him... you can read for yourself, can you read? ...we’ll read it to you... I don’t care what colour He is... all I care is, can His blood... wash away my sins... can His blood open the door... to redemption... and His blood certainly did that...
He is my substitute... the second word... the Bible uses to describe redemption... is the word “Gaal”... glory to God... that is to buy back one’s freedom... by acting as a kinsman redeemer... to buy back one’s freedom... by acting as a kinsman redeemer... what does it mean to be a kinsman... it means to be related to you... you see... you have to understand that... contrary... to eastern religions... in eastern religions, they have to do penance... they... have to... they have to qualify themselves... on the basis of their works, and we will deal with this tomorrow...
that’s why they believe in reincarnation, which is different to... the incarnation... which is what Christ did... the incarnation, is the act of assuming flesh... putting on a human body, so that God could identify with us... but in eastern religions... they had to... do something to make themselves good

Christians... will laugh at people like... prostitutes and people having issues with their sexuality... or stuff like that... because they don’t identify with them... what we do is preach to them... but you cannot condemn anybody into the Kingdom of God.... Ezekiel had a Word... he says, then I arose there... in the... valley of Tel Aviv... and the Spirit of the Lord... I rose up in the heat of my spirit... and the spirit of God had stirred me up... and I was ready to preach to Israel... to tell them, how could you backslide... after all the things that God did for you... how could you worship idols, after all the miraculous signs you’ve seen... and then he says, and then I sat where they sat... and for 7 days I couldn’t preach to them... some of you are eloquent... talking about... your friend who went through that... challenge in their marriage... in their health... and in their... finances... because you haven’t sat where they sat... it’s amazing how your... tune will change when you sit where somebody sat... and God said... in all of scripture... it’s a principle of redemption... you cannot redeem somebody... whom you are not kin to... with whom you can’t identify... so when He wanted to... save Israel from the famine... He raised up a Joseph... when He wanted to deliver them... He raised up a Moses... when He wanted to... even...
even in the case of Ruth... they had to look for a Boaz... who was kin to Naomi... because you can’t redeem anybody to whom you are not related... and so the book of Hebrew chapter 2 tells us... for this reason... verse 11... He that sanctifies and them that are sanctified... are partakers of the same flesh and blood... so that... so that what... He is now not ashamed... to call them His brothers... so now, God said if I’m going to redeem you... I wouldn’t send you... somebody so detached, or an angel... I will send you My Son... and He will be touched! ...by the feelings of your infirmities... so, in your redemption... you can be sure... if nobody else stands by you... the apostle Paul said... I preached to
there is somebody you can count on, as I close... God! ...will stand by you... He will stand by you... through thick and thin... even in the midst of your own mistakes... all these men... but all men forsook me... yet the Lord... stood by me...
Lastly the word... that the Bible talks about to describe redemption... is the word “Kippur” from which we get... Yom Kippur... and that is a material transaction... by the payment of a ransom... material transaction... through the payment of a ransom, and he said... that the son of man... Mark 10 and 45, has not come to be served, but He has come to seek and save... that which was lost, and give His life... a ransom for many... and the scripture says... in the book of first Timothy 2... 5 and 6... for we have one mediator between God and man... the man Christ Jesus... notice... He is the Man... who stands in the middle... and He was given
because redemption... is a legal transaction... something... had to be paid! ...but, but as a ransom... for you and me... why...
here is where most people miss it... you think that God paid the devil... that would be... to have a theology called “dualism” ...dualism... is the theology that... that asserts... or contends... that God... and the devil are in some kind of a fight... God and the devil have never been in some kind of fight... “...well, I saw Michael... you know, coming to rescue the angel... from the prince of Persia...” ...that’s an angel... that’s why I’m praying... and it’s taking long... because... because my prayers... are being held up... that’s the Old Testament... Jesus declared... I saw satan... fall from heaven... like lightening... he has bitten the dust so badly... if you talk about the big bang, there was a big bang alright... but it aint’ what you think... ...Dr. Mumba chuckling... but God paid for you... the price... has been paid... that means... it’s illegal... for either God... or satan... to make you sick... I remember, as a business student... learning concepts... in accounting... because the Bible, is a legal document... and it uses accounting terms... we’ve been reconciled to God (Romans 5:10)... a few months ago, I preached about... being redeemed by the blood of Jesus... and I gave you six reasons why that blood is precious... that blood is precious... because of it’s reconciling power... that blood is precious, because of it’s redeeming power... that blood is precious, glory to God... because of its pacifying power... that blood is precious... because of its soul... inspiring power... that blood of Jesus is precious... because it obligates God to not do certain things... there is a material transaction involved... if God has to make you sick... when Isaiah 53
and verse 10 in the amplified says He made Him sick... that means God cannot balance the books... and the language of reconciliation... is the language... of making sure... whatever you take from the debit side... you make sure... you put on the... the credit side, otherwise your books will not balance... hello accountants... if God took sickness out of Jesus... He must credit healing to you... if the punishment... that brought you peace... was laid upon Him... if He took the punishment, then He must credit peace... shalom... to you... if He was wounded... for your transgressions... and bruised... for your iniquities... then... you mustn’t be wounded... and you mustn’t be... bruised... so, what? ...if you’re waiting for God to bruise you... it’s too late... because here is the thing you must understand as I close... when Jesus was on the cross... God... was working... in Christ... but He was not working on Christ... oh... you going to see
that’s why... everything... the gospel said about Jesus... Paul... went ahead and... said about the believer... the Bible said, He was this as we go along... and the language of identification...
crucified... Paul said, I am crucified with Christ... the Bible says, He was buried... Paul says, you were buried with Him in the waters of baptism... the Bible says, He was raised... from the dead... the Bible says, and you who were once dead in your trespasses... has He raised... up... to sit with Him together...
everything the scripture said about Jesus.. it now says about you, why... God... when He did the balancing act... He took out of Jesus, and credited eternal life to you... and today, you have a right... to be free from sickness... free from disease... free from depression... free from poverty and lack... free from insecurity and fear... because the Lamb of God... has redeemed you... did you receive that this morning... glory to God... Father we thank You for Your Word... we give You praise... today... oh... at the beginning of this conference, we set ourselves... to understand the mysteries of our redemption... so we might walk in newness of life... we give You praise Holy Spirit, for making these truths real to us... in the mighty Name of Jesus we pray, and everybody said amen..
