2014 High Holy Days Schedule

A Journey into the High Holy Days… From our Cantors

The High Holy Days have the power to take us on an emotional, spiritual and physical journey. In Hebrew they are called Yaamin Noraim (The Awesome Days.) We refer to them not as holidays but as Holy Days because they evoke in us the most powerful of emotions: love, forgiveness, compassion and fear. Individually, we are forced to take the time to reconsider our priorities and core values, and as a sacred community we are united through song and tradition, adding our unique experiences to the master Jewish story. This year we urge you to be present for the full journey of the High Holy Days from Selichot to Simchat Torah. The Temple Isaiah clergy look forward to seeing you!

SELICHOT – Temple Isaiah Saturday, September 20 7:00 p.m. Our journey will begin on Saturday, September 20th with Selichot. Immerse yourself in the stories, teachings and chants of holy preparation. This year the candles, songs and teachings will illuminate our Selichot experience. Selichot provides us with the inspiration to make meaningful changes for the New Year.
