REDEFINITION Primary School Design in Iraq In this project, we aim to design a primary school on the marshland in Iraq. Considering the cultural background of Iraq, we hope to make this project special for the children in this country, who have suffered from wars for many years. Therefore, we try to redefine the functional organization and children's space to create a happy environment for the children.

History of Site Since Gulf War began from 1980, Iraq turned into a war-torn country. People lost their homes and even had to leave their country to escape the sufferings of wars. Unfortunately, children in Iraq were the victims of wars and lived with worry of being killed in the war, lacking opportunities to recevie education. Keyword:War Misery Victim

REORGANIZATION Bajiaojing Market Design In this project, we try to analyse the deficience of traditional chinese market like the mixed smell. Then we refine three critical elements--smell, selling environment and selling time to recreate a new market. Besides, we choose a new carrier --15m*8m*3.6m light box for different kinds of products. At last, we try to interlace each monomer to format my design.

REPRESENTATION Urban Design in Daguan Park With the development of social economy, more and more people have a better life quality. To meet the soaring need of people, we choose one part of Daguan Park and transform it into a business area. In this project, we are going to think about how to match modern commerce with traditional cultural background. In addition, we try to use some theories to consider what kind of space is suitable for the traditional background and what scale of space can provide people with better using experience.

In China, the only word to describe the image of Wu culture is "Shuixiang", which means the town surrounded by river. Therefore, the elements of Wu culture is all associated with water. For example, we can see a spot called "Butou". It is a terrace with some steps leading to river. People in Wu culture area can use Butou to wash clothes, wash vegetables and so on. In a word, everything in Wu culture is about water.

RECONSTRUCTION Canal 5 Factory Transformation Canal 5 factory was used to produce some fiber products with textile technology several years ago. However, it had been abandoned for a long time. The keypoint of this project is to make transformation on the function of the factory, from an industry place to a culture centre for people living around. By investigation, we find that people there don't have enough public space to do some activities and relax. That is the initial part where we start our design.

In 1933, the factory was established by three businessmen in centre of Changzhou. It was mainly used to produce fabrics and created many employment opportunities for peole living nearby.

In 1990s, with the birth of some new technology, such as computer science, traditional manufacturing industry inevitably went downhill. Therefore, the factory declined gradually and in 1993, it had to be closed.

In 2008, due to the policy of Changzhou government, the factory was reborn as an industrial park. The main function of this area was to hold some activities about art. Besides, it provided space for some small companies.
