TENNESSEE TITANS PROVIDED CAREER NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR MILITARY VETERANS

THE HONOR FOUNDATION “TREK” STOPPED IN NASHVILLE FOR EXECUTIVE EDUCATION AND TRAINING

The Tennessee Titans hosted 40 military veterans as part of The Honor Foundation’s “TREK” through Nashville. The Honor Foundation offers career transition opportunities for U.S. Special Operators, aiming to deliver tailored executive education, one-on-one coaching, and access to an exclusive professional network. The visit to the Titans marked the Foundation’s only sports team visit in the state of Tennessee.

Veterans received welcoming remarks from Titans President and CEO, Burke Nihill, followed by “Speed Dating” style networking sessions with key leaders from each of the business departments at the Tennessee Titans, including Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Creative, Content and Event Production, Ticketing, IT and Stadium Events and Operations.

“Our military veterans sacrifice everything to bravely serve our country, and they deserve every opportunity to foster a career on the other side of service. By introducing this group of veterans to key members of our team, we hope to inspire and support their career growth in any field, especially sports and entertainment,” said Titans Director of Youth and Community Engagement, Josh Corey. “At the Tennessee Titans we are always looking for ways to honor our service men and women, and we are humbled they stopped to see us on their Nashville TREK.”

“Bringing our group to spend a day with the Tennessee Titans was incredibly valuable and rewarding. Our veteran participants were able to have one-on-one networking time with top executives from an NFL team, an opportunity they have not had before,” said Ashley Brown, Director of People for The Honor Foundation Virginia Beach Campus. “Every step we take at The Honor Foundation is dedicated to preparing these outstanding men and women to continue to realize their maximum potential during and after their service career.”

The Honor Foundation (THF) is a career transition program for U.S. Special Operations Forces that effectively translates their elite military service to the private sector and helps create the next generation of corporate and community leaders. The organization aims to provide a clear process for professional development and a diverse ecosystem of world class support and technology.
