Many companies now claim to offer online paying surveys but do they really cough up the money or do they just get the information they wanted and then forget to pay you? The answer can be true of both. There are certainly a fair amount of online paying surveys that are complete scams but those that are legitimate are great opportunities to make cash from home. But how can you tell which companies are legitimate. 1. Check the sites customer service and email address. It may take a few days to get a reply but when ( or if) you do make sure the person who replies seems to have a knowledge of what they are talking about. 2. Find out how long the company has been established, a new company doesn't guarantee a scam but it doesn't show a legitimate site either where as if the company has been around a while chances are it is legit. 3. Check to see how long the company have registered there domain name for. If they register for 6 months it makes you wonder what the reason for this could be. It may be because they are new and don't want to register for too long in case the business fails but there is an higher chance it is because that is as long as they want the site to remain there for. I personally would use a paid access directory as they should have checked all these details for you before adding them to there list of companies. This is one reason I prefer a paid access list to a free one plus the fact that they offer a larger list and companies that pay higher amounts for there online paying surveys. Of course some directories can be risky because some have no privacy policy which basically means they can sell on your personal details if they wish. This is very dangerous as they can be used for things such as fraud and identity theft if sold to the wrong person. To counter this just make sure the directory you choose has a privacy policy statement somewhere on there site. Finally if going down the paid membership route, which I highly
recommend, make sure the company offer a money back guarantee. Online paying surveys are certainly legit but it isn't easy to avoid the scams but if you follow the advice here the opportunity will be made simpler to find.
