Red Dot Award The Red Dot Design Award is a large and coveted international product design prize awarded by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany. Good Design Award Good Design Award is a comprehensive program for the evaluation and encouragement of design organized by Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP). The Good Design Award is a system that aims to channel the eminent powers of distinctive designs to build prosperous lives and encourage sound industrial development. It is a campaign to brighten and enrich society through design. Green Good Design Award Conducted annually by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with The European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies, the Good Design Award is an annual program founded in 1950 to honour the sustainable innovation product designs, architecture, landscape architecture, and urban planning, with the intent to instill a call of action among American and European institutions to “Design a Better World Now.” European Consumer Choice Award (ECC) The European Consumer Choice Award is an organization created to recognize companies skilled in producing innovative and intelligent designs for easy to use products. Based in Brussels, products are tested under everyday conditions by European consumers who assess, evaluate and comment on their functionality, innovative features and design. D&AD Award The annual D&AD Awards are recognized throughout the world. They set the absolute reference standard for creative excellence. Based in London, D&AD is a restless, enquiring, agitating organization, determined to perpetuate brilliance in commercial creativity. It constantly pushes boundaries, initiating debate and encouraging experimentation, nurturing a tradition of craft skills and celebrating excellence within the creative industries and beyond. Interior Innovation Award The Interior Innovation Award is one of the most prestigious awards of the furnishing sector world-wide and was launched in 2002 by the IMM cologne, which provides the idea behind the competition. The organiser is the German Design Council. The Interior Innovation Award appraises top innovations in all product areas of this industry sector.

Water Efficiency The Water Efficiency Labeling Scheme The Water Efficiency Labeling Scheme (WE LS) is an initiative of the Public Utilities Board (PUB), Singapore’s national water agency. The objectives of WE LS are to enable consumers to conserve Singapore’s scarce water resources, and to encourage manufacturers to produce more water efficient products. The scheme is implemented through labels that indicate the water efficiency of a product. The four categories in the rating schematic are: zero tick, good, very good and excellent. The flow rate and flush capacity of a product are integral to determining its rating capacity. In addition to the products’ water consumption, its brand, model and registration number are also displayed on the label.

Installed underneath the vanity level, creating a streamlined minimalist look. This design is the most secure, because the basinâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s sides are protected from bumps and impact. However, this bathroom basin design is fairly complex to install because a custom-shaped cavity must be cut into the counter to accommodate the sink. GROHE Blue® is an innovative filter system that turns tap water into clean and fresh-tasting water. With the aid of a special filter, tap water is made even cleaner in four successive phases, giving it an even better taste. The high-quality fitting features two separate waterways one for the normal mains water and one for the purified GROHE Blue® drinking water. On the handle, an LED display alerts the user when the filter needs to be changed. Producing a single litre of bottled mineral water requires an astonishing seven litres of water, plus there is the time and cost required to recycle the empty bottles. So not only is GROHE Blue® a convenient choice, it is kind to the environment too.

The chrome finish on all GROHE products is only a fraction of microns thick. However what really matters is what’s underneath. Product Feature GROHE SilkMove® is an interactive sensation which you will experience daily for a life-time. The cartridge is the nerve centre of every faucet and where the ceramic discs are located. The lever handle of the faucet is connected to the discs by a shaft– GROHE uses solid brass for strength and durability. As the discs move over each other, they either block or allow water to pass through. Therefore the quality of these parts will affect the performance of your faucet.

The cartridges at GROHE are manufactured in a high-tech process and feature discs made from a space-proven ceramic alloy. The polished mirror-like surface of the discs is then coated with a special Teflon lubricant for frictionless operation. As a result of this state-of-the art technology, our faucets have an extra-wide operating angle, allowing you to exactly manage the water flow and temperature.
