Hydraulic or Electric
The choice is yours
Mechanically, Electrically and Hydraulically, every Terberg bin lift is built to resist the stresses and strains associated with the repetitive lifting of waste containers, often in challenging conditions.
Conforming to all EN1501-5 norms, CE marked and proficient in the efficient handling of all containers conforming to EN840.1.2.3, there is no better peace of mind to be had where safety and reliability take precedence. Whether the requirement is for a durable heavy-duty trade waste bar lift or an intelligent and versatile split automatic lift, Terberg Matec UK have it covered.
From the very beginning, Terberg have maximised the conventional use of fluid power to convert energy from the vehicle engine or gearbox into lifting strength. With a solid design platform, coupled with the use of quality components and multifaceted innovative thinking, the opportunity to maximise the product range and provide the market with further options was an obvious step forward.
As an environmentally conscious organisation, and with increased demands to provide eco-friendly choices to the marketplace, Terberg introduced a low voltage, low noise, Electric versions of their entire bin lift product range.
With choice comes satisfaction. Whether it be Hydraulic for some; or Electric for others, the Terberg brand prevails.
Whilst the hydraulic range is already widely recognised as quiet and efficient, the Electric variants boast practically silent operation with a noise level rating of <57dB. On top of this, proven reductions in fuel use and CO2 output are evident, whilst still retaining the same mechanical design and high performance expected from a Terberg product.
A unique use of 24v low voltage technology remains the only difference between the electric lift and the hydraulic variant, with normal requirements for high pressure, high flow, oil supplies from the body and chassis being replaced by a simple plug-and-play connection to a standard chassis battery pack. Again, product competencies remain unchanged, but efficiencies are notable.
Fuel savings and CO2 output reductions have been frequently and scientifically evidenced since the launch of the electric lift variant in 2011. Trials across the UK have been carried out in partnership with both public and private sector organizations, resulting in nothing but positive results and conclusions.
The assurances from the evidence have clearly set an unrivaled standard, with a significant and growing number of operators choosing Terberg Electric bin lifts to help save on fuel, noise pollution, and protect the environment.
Of course, these identical design ethics and the applied design experience throughout the entire Terberg lift family dictates that the long-life expectancy and comparably low running costs of any Terberg lift is preserved whether Hydraulic or Electric power is chosen.
The same operational advantages, the same quality, the same customer support mechanism underpinned by the same Terberg heritage the choice is yours.
